Love Elijah's Taxi, and I like the cosmos mixed in with the daylilies. It sure fills in the gaps well.

Great collection of flowers. Wonderfully Made and Pleasing to the Eye catches my eye Of course the other don't look to bad either.

FACE DANCER. I couldn't get a good picture of this daylily. Its really very striking.

WOW!! I am just drooling over the entire collection. What a beautiful selection... there is not a one in the bunch that I wouldn't put on my list ( but I AM NOT making one this year!!! ). If I had to choose one or two so it wasn't really a list but just something to think about, I would have to pick Grace Like Rain and Arnolds Daughter.

And the cosmos are a wonderful filler for the DL's. I have done that with the taller for dahliahs, but it had never occured to use the shorter w/ daylilies. Just beautiful.

I just bought a flat of cosmos at the nursery and planted them. Don't know if they are the shorter or taller. But they filled in more than I thought they would. Looks ok though.

I saw some more pictures of some of Phil Korths seedlings and also some more of the 2009 intros. Looks like I will be spending more of my money as I really liked what I saw.

In 2007 he did announce three future 2009 intros in his newsletter that goes to prior customers and people inquireing about the daylilies. One was the 2009 intro HEIR TO THE THRONE. 2 others whos names I can not remember right now (would have to look it up). Sold by waiting list which I was very quick top get on so I know I will be getting those three. I wouldn't be surprised if he sold out of stock just from that waiting list when they are ready to ship. Pricey though, $250.00 each.

How did I miss all these, seriously? Anyway... Purify My Heart is probably the favorite, followed by STUMBLING STONE. Are you sure you LIKE pink daylilies? I love it because it is a bi-color. Very cool.

Your garden is beautiful. I purchased some wildflower seeds to throw out among the daylilies for next year and hope it turns out pretty.
I have lark spur in the spring and it ready looked great, I have a few other plants around but their just not standing out the way I'd like them to.

All soooo very nice, I will have to keep my eye open for Phil Korth Daylilies!

I posted that top ten list of mine with PURIFY MY HEART and GRACE LIKE RAIN. I posted it here on garden web and also sent it to the AHS e-mail robin. I found out from Phil Korth today that two people ordered PURIFY MY HEART from him based on my comments. So he said keep on posting, people read what you say. Don't know which group the orders came from but it is interesting.

I guess I had better be careful and not send a list of my top ten dogs in my garden. Would probably get me in trouble. No Korth Daylilies would be on THAT list. But then, I think its a great idea :-))

I have a prolif on NORTHERN SPLENDOR that I just cut and put in a little vase of water. The scape was turning brown so I thought I had better cut it but after cut I saw that it still had green in part of it so I could have left it longer. But the little prolif is already starting to send out two roots so I hope it will be ok.

This is my first attempt at rooting a prolif. I plan on planting it next to the mother plant as soon as I get some roots.

Well, since most of the 2007 intros from Phil Korth are sold out and not listed on his website, I am bumping up my post of summer pictures that show most of them.

I just love my Phil Korth daylilies as you can tell from my raving about them.

My little prolif of NORTHERN SPLENDOR has been growing in a vase in my kitchen since sept 5th and by now it had long, long roots. I have been meaning to plant it for the past week but finially got to it today. I just planted it next to the mamma plant as I figgure it will just get bigger and add to the clump effect.

I especially like Wonderfully Made, Arrakas Sunset, and Grace Like Rain. I'm pouting because I wanted to work in my daylily garden and I have to go an work for a sick co-worker. She worked for me when I was out with my knee, so there is little choice. Pouting anyway.

I am done with my planting. Now I will do some more mulching to get everything ready for winter. There are some beds that were mulched late last year and I have not gotten to mulch again so they need it. The weather has been nice for playing in the garden.

As for my Phil Korth daylilies just wait until next years bloom season as I have gotten so many more for next spring. It will be fun to compair the ones I already had to my new ones next year.
