Hey, I know you had fun and this is a great post with all the pictures. Always nice to know what those hybridizers look like. And just LOOK at all those daylilies in those field shots. They just seem to go on forever. Of the closeup shots Wikileaks is my very favorite. I might be tempted to get that one myself.

My sights are set on PRIMAL SCREAM and a few others he has but first I have to make more room. So hard being a gardener.

Wow, did I appreciate this post! I love the first photo of the three hybridizers "dissecting" the daylily on the table. The photo with the large field is amazing.

I didn't notice There's A Place in the catalog, but your photo is great. Aegean Wind is one I've been trying to find for ages -- very difficult! I think I might have to get that one from Curt next year. And I guess I should look up Holo Deck, because I don't remember that one.

I wish I had known you were coming, I would have tried to stop by. If you were here over the weekend I would have also told you to swing by the NODS Daylily sale which was Saturday and Sunday and not too far from Curt's. They had over 300 varieties for sale from $5.00 to $40.00 and there were some very nice plants. I brought home GUIDED BY VOICES, SHERRY LANE CARR, NILE NITENGALE, MANDARIN SEAS, PROJECT BLUE BOOK, VOICES IN THE FOG, LITTLE RAINBOW, and REGENCY HEIGHTS.

They were very accommodating to let you take their pictures on such a hot day. Point of Divergence and There's a Place both look appealing. I hope my Secrets and Lies looks that good. You can not describe Wayne's World?

Great pictures! Thanks so much for sharing. Purple seems to dominate his seedling beds. AEGEAN WIND, SECRETS & LIES, and POINT OF DIVERGENCE are especially pretty. Really like POD.

I clicked on your link and went right to his website. I also used the link from my garden blog and also got there. He doesn't have the new 2012 up yet. Seems that in the past few years, people would get his catalog in the mail before he updated his website.

I am able to view all of the past year's intros. Hope you can soon. Not getting any errors when I click on any of the past years.
