Do pomegranates do well on Florida's central gulf coast?

Does anyone have an idea of how well pom's would grow here in the largo/Clearwater area of florida (central west coast)? Is it too humid here for them to set fruit? I know they like sort of dry environments, and it can be pretty wet and humid here sometimes, but is it TOO wet here for them to set fruit?

I was thinking about buy 5 varieties of pomegranates:
a Wonderful, an Angel Red, a Granada (or Grenada), a Parfianka, and an Ambrosia.

Are these types of pom's ok or are there better types of pom's for the area? What's the best type for the area?
