Weekend Wonders at Shive's (photos)

I managed to find a few blooms this weekend. But they were few and far between. I had a couple of ffos on spring arrivals that came with scapes that died. So these are rebloom scapes on

BEWITCHING EYES

and WORLD TRAVELER (It had a nice round 7-inch bloom this morning!)

MOONLIGHT SAIL's rebloom flowers continued to look nice.

Most of the blooms I have are in the new raised bed I made last year. It gets full sun, and the plants appreciate it. Here's a photo I took of that bed about a week ago.

ADAMAS reblooming nicely in that bed on Saturday.

DESPERADO LOVE also still blooming in that bed.

OLD KING COLE, another raised bed resident, has a couple more buds.

RUBY LIPSTICK, also in the raised bed, still going strong.

I decided things were blooming so long in that raised bed that I made another one. I finished it this week. I put all lates and ML bloomers that rebloom in it, along with some annuals for color.

Raised Bed II shown with Amber Finale and Royal Jester blooming, neon pink pentas and lots of petunias.

Elsewhere in the yard, some spideries were showing off today.

ORCHID FOREST

ORCHID VISITATION with three ORCHID CORSAGE girls.

EYE ON A STRING - The last one, unless I get another rebloom scape.

FREUDIAN SLIP - the last one of the season

That's all for now, folks!
