need some suggestion for a tree in the north Atlanta area

I have a daughter that lives in Alpharetta and needs a grouping of evergreens - either a conifer or broad leaf - to screen the back end of a nursing home. The site is beneath an bunch of TALL pines, morning sun, afternoon bright shade, typical Georgia red clay soil. I was just down there and the soil is fairly moist under all the pine needles. My thoughts were either a hemlock or one form or another of upright holly. The site is some distance from the house and outside activity area, so prime specimens is not the call and I would go with Park grade plants if I could find them. But I need the right ones. I wanted to look around to see what has been planted in similar sites, but you know how it is when visiting your kids. The Honey-do list is longer than your arm. So any suggestions would be appreciated. No leylands please - and Thanks for helping out a Yankee father
