Sometimes They Do Come Around

Here's some highlights of what is in bloom in my garden today, July 20th.

I have a tendency to pass judgement on how well a daylily will perform in the first year. And I already have a list of daylilies that I am ready to vote out of the garden. Lock Ness Monster was on my hit list last year. Fortunately I did not ditch it, because it is looking great in year two and should look amazing when it grows to clump status!

Another view of Lock Ness Monster - I just love the wavey edges!

Miss Tinkerbelle is one of my favorite small daylilies and looks great in a nice clump.

I won Coral Eye Shadow on the lily auction this past winter and it is definitely a winner!

Here's an FFO of Truly Angelic - first time bloom for me.

I had to share another picture of Greywoods Fashionista. This has to be on the prettiest bonus plants I have ever received.

I could not share a picture of Exotic Dancer over the last couple of weeks because it looked like a rolled up tissue. Looking much better today.

Saffron Glow's name says it all.

Lady Liz is looking like the classy lady she is.

Last but not least, Real Wind gets a lot of comments in my garden.
