The first is my bloodlilies blooming and the second is a fountain my husband got at a garage sale and I used Mark's idea to build a stand for it.

but the fountain and stand for it are to die for. I thought I had good luck at garage sales and goodwill, but that fountain is so charming. And you built the perfect pillar.
Would love to see what else you might have lurking around your yard.

that fringe tree photo helps me remember the one i had to leave behind in n.c. it was only 4 years old and in it's glory when we moved away to ca. it never leafed out until mid-june so i made sure to tell the new owners to just wait, it isn't dead, and it will be well worth the wait. i sure hope they did. i'm glad yours is thriving along with the rest of your beautiful gardens. min

Same here, but some are looking pretty good still. Southern Comfort and Caramel are pretty much green. My saddest one is Midas Touch. I'll probably have to move that one to more shade, if this drought ever breaks. I've been trying to keep them watered, but where MT is the soil gets warm and dry quickly being next to the patio. Thanks! This is the first year for Lascivious Dreams, I didn't even realize it had bloomed, they blooms are in the foliage a bit. Not too bad, but I hope it does better next year. They are all nice large flowers, maybe not the largest, but very nice I think.

its a TITLE line.. not a sentence line.. ANOTHER reseeding nightmare... mulberry ... destroy it immediately ... and another bird deal ... the only upside is.. purple stains on your siding... sidewalks.. cars ... feet.. shoes.. and if your real lucky.. they will stick to your shoes.. and stain your carpeting ... and to be clear... they dont fly around.. its all contained in a bird poop missile ... lol ... ken
