I just ordered again last night too. He's dropped his prices on a lot of stuff, so who could resist? I'm getting Venus's Fire, Ledgewood's Firecracker and Flamingo Parade.

Ledgewood's Firecracker looks awesome! I'm getting close to hitting 100 daylilies! I know many of you have MANY more than that, but for me it's a lot in 3 years. My wish list is still long.

Did the same here, promised I was done for the year and then saw one at a daylily expo that I couldn't live without-and it was in my budget. So I just ordered two from Maryott. Beauty of the King-which in person is much more beautiful than his photo, and Singular Sensation. I really need to behave now. Went to a local grower with Dad today and he shared a seedling of his that I had admired at the expo, and gave me a seedling of Bella Sera that looked like another seedling he had one was going to pitch.

You know I have really liked Ledgewood's Fireworks. It was an early bloomer, put up instant rebloom scapes, and just finished it's third round of blooming. A real winner, I'm sure you'll like it.

I got Free Wheelin last year, first small bloom this year, can't judge it yet until it's been here a couple of years.

Kay - It was your photos that got me wanting Ledgewood's Firecracker. I also got Flying Carpet on the Lily Auction last week. Now that we took a tree down in the front yard, I have plenty of garden space there. I've gone on a buying spree.

What fun, Debra. You have certainly inspired many of my purchases. (Exquisite Subversion and Cerulean Warbler come to mind instantly) Turnabout should be fair play. I hope you like LF as much as I do the ones I just mentioned. It is an excellent plant. I took your advice and just tried planting Pirate King in another location. If it doesn't straighten up, I will send it to you.

I'm not buying either; however, my neighbor bought some and she is going to give me some fans.

And I have a friend who gave me a clump of a very tall NOID that I ogled when I visited. I said I was not going to add any more NOID's to my garden, but this was too good to pass up.

Still have three pots of daylilies that I have to find a place for. They will probably be stuck someplace where I'll have to move them later.

Wish I had more room:(

Being in Canada, my choices are more limited re. mail order daylilies. But I have found 2 great places and they have many wonderful varieties.

Last year, some daylilies that I started from seed 2 years earlier finally bloomed. First of all I love surprises and secondly, some of them look very close to a few of the expensive dazzlers. So happy!

And of course, lack of space did not stop me from ordering even more today: Sandra Elizabeth, Final Touch, and Jersey Spider. The first 2 I was told have not bloomed yet, and the last "blooms early and continuously". Is that true??

I used to have other (real) lilies, but the dreaded red lily beetle decimated my collection, and so I have "converted" to daylilies. They are wonderful.

I'm not making any written confessions, but suffice it to say I'm going to be digging some more holes in a few weeks.

I don't know what's wrong with me! I haven't been this obsessed since the torrential hosta downpour of '07! :-P
