Who Am I? I know I have seen this DL before. I have it planted where Wild One was planted, but it sure doesn't look like him, and I think he did not come back last year already.

You didn't go to Windy Ridge in Indiana and buy the unregistered Dark Red Georgia did you?

Jane you are getting like the rest of them. Posting so many beautiful pictures that I have to overwork my mouse to try to figure out which ones I like the best.

You know I'm a fan of Fancy Buttons. Great pic.

My favs are Trade Last, Taudy, Stolen Treasure, Dinner And A Movie, Island Glamorous Guest and Piano Man. Did I miss any? Especially like Dinner and A Movie.

Your gardens are beautiful and perfectly manicured! Red Charm looks wonderful....if I had room for another peony, I think that's one I'd like. Some of the smaller purple alliums grown here, but I love the idea of five feet tall ones! I'm also a big fan of heucheras. This year was the first year that I had all return (knock on wood) as I've lost one or two most years. I have a small collection. They've been spectacular this spring...especially one called Georgia Peach. Well, having said that, I couldn't pick a favorite. Interestingly, I grow mine with epimediums, so it sounds like in more shade than you do. Day before yesterday, I planted two new ones, Plum Royale and Pinot Gris. I'm trying them in areas with a bit more sun. Snow Angel was problematic for me, but I'm hoping this time (the third go round), I've figured it out. It overwintered in a pot last year...in a more sunny area, so it is planted with more sun than most. The mock oranges look to be blooming soon here...can't wait for their fragrance now that the daphnes are pretty much done. Thanks for posting such lovely pictures...especially on a rainy day.

I still have quite a few daylilies blooming, but I haven't had time to post pics. I do keep up with the forum and have enjoyed all of your pics - thank you! Due to our long growing season, most of my daylilies rebloom, even if it's only one scape with just a few buds. But some of them have been exceptional this year. I will only list the ones that have been most impressive, reblooming more than twice. The longest blooming daylily in my garden is STELLA'S RUFFLED FINGERS. It started blooming this year on March 25 and it is still blooming. It has two more new rebloom scapes on it as I type this, so it will definitely be blooming into August. That's 5 months of blooms. I can't say enough good things about this daylily - not only is it a workhorse, it's also a fast multiplier, and rust resistant. If it were my favorite color (red), I think I'd dig up every daylily I own and replace it with this one. Here is a pic taken July 14, 2012 long after most daylilies have finished in my garden. Check out the leaves...still green when most of my daylily foliage is yellow and burnt. STELLA'S RUFFLED FINGERS - This next one was something of a surprise. I've had it several years and it has always had some rebloom (but nothing worth bragging about). Last year I moved it from a somewhat shady spot into a sunny bed. It is currently reblooming, but I've lost track of how many times. Each rebloom scape has been taller and has more buds than the last. EVENING ENCHANTMENT - The next one is one of my most reliable rebloomers. Although the color fades somewhat on these later blooms due to our high temps, I think it is still an attractive bloom. Here it is reblooming July 29, 2012 - EYE ON A STRING - Last year this next one put up rebloom scapes into Sept (very, very late for my garden). It is currently reblooming and I'm hoping for a repeat of last years performance. It is the pink one in the center (with 3 blooms) surrounded by seedlings. MISSOURI MEMORIES - Next is one of my oldest daylilies. It's a huge clump now, but I'm reluctant to divide it. A very reliable rebloomer, fast increaser, rust resistant double is BIG KISS - Some of my best rebloomers have already been mentioned, but I'd like to add them to my list: BUTTERED POPCORN ( but rusty and may have to go), DARK WONDER (rarely doubles, but I think I like it better as a single), INSIDER TRADING (very rust resistant and currently putting up more rebloom scapes), LITTLE MYSTIC MOON (my bud king this year), and last but not least, SPIDER MAN (my personal favorite). Metaphor is really that color - a lavender. When I take its pic it sometimes shows more pink in the color, but I try to get it as true to the color in my garden. Lavender Flight is also showing it's true color. My new software has several options to choose from that seem to help show the true color I see in the garden with just a click. Thank you. Jane PS: Last year one of my very favorites was Casual Pleasure. This year I have not posted a photo because I moved it and the blooms have more of an orchid/lavender color. If I can get a decent shot of it I will show in a future post the difference from last year and this year. I still like it but I hope another year at its new home will result in the lavender color.

Thanks all for your nice comments. Fancy Buttons is described as 5" across, but I think mine is more like four. As the day advances it opens up a little more so it might reach 5". I didn't get to see it later yesterday. I bought it directly from the Joiners. Their DLs seem to do well in my garden. I had to add that new photo of IF since each day it seems like there is always a quantity of blooms. I have it planted towards the front and you always notice it as you walk by. Thank you. Jane

These are just wonderful. I hardly know what to say. Love your unknown as its so very bright and cheery. Love that double Dinner And A Movie and of course still love Fancy Buttons. Love the clump shots of Trade Last and Topguns Pleasant Surprise.

Thanks everyone. I try to show the DLs' beauty, and sometimes I do better then others, but it is always fun to try. I usually have my Nikon D50 set on automatic.

Thanks for sharing all your beautiful photos! My favorites are Stolen Treasure, Trade Last and Fancy Buttons.

I got Susan Weber in spring 2006 and she looks much better this year. Last year she had small fans with short scapes and only a few buds. This year the fans are much bigger and the scapes are the proper height with more buds. Still hasn't increased much. I love the flower though.

They are all so lovely, but I "think" my favorite is Stolen Treasure, but Fancy Buttons is still right there. But I can scroll up right now & bet I would have a different fav. Nice pictures.

Oh gosh, where to start!?

I just planted Dallas Star this Spring and it has bloomed, but not photo-worthy. In fact, I wondered why I wanted it in the first place, it was so un-impressive. But seeing yours gives me hope for next year!

Piano Man was on last year's wish list, but I foolishly passed it up - can't imagine why! It just went back on my list, since your shot is so wonderful!

Fancy Buttons is one I've wanted for a long time. Sure love your capture of the bloom.

Just planted my Susan Weber this Spring, but looks like she will wait until next year to bloom. Again, yours is awesome.

What a variety!! Thanks for sharing all your beauties... Is Dinner and A Movie a coral type color?? I really like the hose in hose doubles!

Dinner And A Movie has a unique color. To my eye it has shades of pink, rose, and deep coral, heavy on the coral side. Mine really looks like what my monitor is showing. I would call it a rich color. It is planted in a crowded section of the DL bed, but it is doing great. It was planted in '06.

njmomma - I got Topguns Pleasant Surprise from a seller on the Lily Auction that went by the name of Jack_the_bear in '06. I got quite a few DLs from him (won/bought) and as I looked over the list I saw that his DLs are doing well here in PA. I don't know if he offered any in '07, or this year. I can hardly believe it, but I did not buy one new DL this year. My garden/bed is full-to-overflowing, and I need to get rid of some that no longer appeal to me.
