I am not going to add much but let the DLs speak for themselves. I really like every one of these DLs. I had to post a group photo of IF again because it just keeps blooming and blooming. Bama Belle, and Paris Overture are still in pots.

They are all beautiful!Wow, I sure miss seeing mine everyday. I'm down to 3 or 4 on a good day. Hug Me Big really did catch my eye. Thanks for sharing your beauties and your photos are great!!

Hi Toni, I don't think yours is the same as Mike's variegated Jade; handsome tho' whatever it is. His is green w/ bits of yellowish variegation. Yours is distinctly white variegation w/ pink highlights on a differently shaped leaf (maybe you can't quite see these distinctions). (For anyone new or unaware, Toni's mentioned vision her problems before, so I am just helping her to 'see' what she may not be able to. I believe she knows my good intentions. Yes Toni, do get thee to the eye doc pls. Sooner than Later (per your other thread's comment!!!)) I'm particularly aware of these as yours looks just like a variety I bought from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden & subsequently lost 2 or 3 times. I was so smitten w/ the green & white look -- very pretty & I have only run across this especially nice looking Jade there, at their annual sale in May. I'm miffed as to why the branches on yours are slanted & on such odd angles, I've only seen these grow straight up. Are you aware (not sure if you can see them) that you've got fallen leaves lying flat on the mix at the base of the plant? If you're wanting to root these, perhaps stand them up against the rim of the pot?

Got back a little while, picked up a few things and saw some nice show plants. Talked to a few forum members, can remember what plants I purchased but not the names of who I chatted with. Jane, So glad you shared the photo of Orange Vols, because I just planted that one this Spring, and am now very excited to see it bloom, hopefully as brilliant as yours! Also planted Castle Pinkney new, this year, and love your photo of that beauty! Unforgettable Fire is awesome! I know how all of you feel who did not receive rainfall yet in July and who are suffering from severe rain deficits this year. Last July we did not receive any rain at all, and it was much hotter then than it is now. It was horrible. I hope rainfall relief arrives soon. Carol, That's the driest I've ever seen it in your part of the state and Scott's and Dorothy's as well. Y'all are having my typical drought conditions, but in an area used to a whole lot more rainfall than my plants ever dream of having, even in a good year. I would imagine that makes drought much worse for your permanent plantings since they are used to abundant moisture most years. Heather, I've noticed your area, and the Norman area as well, are incredibly dry this summer. Scary dry. You doing ok there? I cannot imagine being pregnant in this heat, and I hope you're staying inside and staying cool and comfortable. I thought I'd throw in this comment since mosquitoes often follow rain. Yesterday the local news media reported we had a confirmed case of West Nile Virus in Carter County. The woman was treated and recovered. She was lucky. They've already had some WNV-related deaths in the D-FW Metroplex this year, where the WNV is at what they are calling almost epidemic levels. Since I am closer to DFW than OKC, I've been following the WNV progression very closely as it has moved our way. The Carter County case was the eighth WNV case in Oklahoma so far this year. I worked outside this morning early, but as soon as a mosquito started buzzing around, I came back inside. Remember Jay's words of wisdom every time rain has missed his area these last 4 years of drought in Kansas. He always says that today he's one day closer to rainfall than he was yesterday. I repeat those words to myself when we're in the midst of a dry spell here. Even in the worst of drought years, rain does fall. It just doesn't fall when we want it to. Hang in there. I've linked the 'last 30 days' rainfall map. Look at the pattern of the rainfall--mostly around some of the edges of the state, especially in SE OK which still is desperately dry despite the rainfall. There's a nice little wet spot SW of OKC where there's been good rain, but otherwise the interior areas of the state really haven't had the rainfall. Dawn Here is a link that might be useful:

I say, they sure did give you a show today. Lots of great pictures. The clump of IF is wonderful and my very favorite of all the pictures was Fancy Buttons. I just love the blending of colors on it and its so pretty. Is it a very small flower? Really can't tell from the picture about the size. This might seriously have to go on my wish list.

Boy do I have my "fix" for today now! You've sure posted some gorgeous photos of beautiful dl's Jane. I love Fancy Buttons too, I have it and it's one of my favs, probably my very fav double. I love the shade of pink of FYD, and Bama Belle is so soft and feminine looking. Just can't decide which I like best....love them all.

Thanks all for your nice comments. Fancy Buttons is described as 5" across, but I think mine is more like four. As the day advances it opens up a little more so it might reach 5". I didn't get to see it later yesterday. I bought it directly from the Joiners. Their DLs seem to do well in my garden.

I had to add that new photo of IF since each day it seems like there is always a quantity of blooms. I have it planted towards the front and you always notice it as you walk by.

What lovely ones, & several I don't think I've seen before. If must be a really good one, seems like I've seen a few clump shots & they were all just full of blooms like yours. I REALLY like Fancy Buttons, nice looking double & beautiful pink.

Wow! So many pinks, & roses, with a lavender and a red thrown in!
I had Fancy Buttons on my wish list last year, since I'm getting more into Hose-in-hose types, but for some reason couldn't get that one, so it goes on this year's list. I also chose Playful Discourse and Hug Me Big as favorites.

Those are great clumps of If and Exotic Candy. I don't usually like doubles, but Fancy Buttons is very cute. I also especially like Follow Your Dreams and Playful Discourse. You have such beautiful pinks!
