Barbados cherry- Nematodes?

growgrow

I have a barbados cherry from Pine Island nursery in Miami, it is the Florida sweet variety. I have it in the ground since last year spring, has blossomed 2times (2 blooms total). They told me that it should produce since last year, nothing yet, the blossoms drop everytime. Is it still to young, or do I have a nematode damage? If the second is true, would it still be beneficial to put it in the pot, or is it too late and the root damage is already done?

What do you think, I really want this tree to produce, and don't want to loose it. What can I do?

Thanks in advance

Veronika
