russian RAgtime is beautiful, I really like that one. Eyes on the Prize looks nice too. I've had Always Afternoon for several years & heard people complain about it, mostly for looking muddy. I've never thought that of mine, but I have to say this is the worst year it has ever had here. Like you say, blotchy & blooms didn't open. Never had that problem before.

nat, if you are having such dissapointing results with your daylies I would suggest looking at some of the well known northern hybridizers the next time you want to buy.

Happy returns does look great and so does Russian Ragtime. Mine always fades some by the late afternoon also. My favorite today is Russian Ragtime.

My favorites of your daylilies are Eyes On the Prize and Cameo Lustre. Your annuals are really looking pretty!

This is Always Afternoon in my garden--consistently clear blooms, heavy substance, and (what I consider) appealing color.

I love the little "Rose Moss", I'm not sure of the real name, that's just what I've always called it. It's so pretty. Eyes on the Prize is a winner. Thanks for sharing, Mona

HAPPY RETURNS is a favorite of mine. It is early and makes such wonderful little clumps with dozens of blooms for weeks. I also like your white petunias.
