I like Purify My Heart and Bordello Queen the best.

These are great photos of all these, by the way. Love the way Lady Bandit is sitting in the partial shade with the fence behind it. With all the other foliage and the brick wall you have behind On Line, it makes a nice backdrop for the blooms.

Well now that's 2 more pink eyed beauties I'll have to add to the garden. PURIFY MY HEART, and LADY BANDIT are gorgeous. If I can get myself past those pink eyes....I really like DESIRE OF NATIONS too.

Well, there is my PURIFY MY HEART!! How did it get to your house? LOL. I wish. You know I love it. I HAVE to build a new bed this fall for all my new babies. Guess that means I have to save the $$ for rock and compost before buying more daylilies. :o)

NORTH WIND CURLY JOE is sure a cutie too... I have been thinking about the getting the set of them... ah, someday.

wow.Your DL's are really out doing themselves now. GORGEOUS blooms.PURIFY MY HEART is a real beauty today,and so is PEARFISHER PINK. Gorgeous blooms. SELLSTATION SUNSET is different, but a gorgeous bloom, too with the large yellow eye.I like it and BORDELLO QUEEN is beautiful, too, but my favorite of all of them is DESIRE OF NATIONS..That one is more then gorgeous.It takes your breathe away.I don't think I have ever seen a dark one thats more beautiful then this one is.Would like to see more of this one.WOW!!!

I have been amusing myself today going around cutting off scapes that finished blooming. Last year I left them and all those brown scapes sticking up all over the place were too depressing :-(( At any rate, I discovered a rebloom scape on PURIFY MY HEART. Hurray!

Too hot and humid all day to dig and the UV index so high I had to use my sunblock.

Michelle- I have the Three Amigoes Collection but this the only one thats blooming. The only one of the three that bloomed last year also.

Jean- Its really hard to tell in the pictures but DESIRE OF NATIONS has this shimmery shining purple watermark that is a different color from the more matte color of the bulk of the flower. It looks increadable in person. I just know that given some time to settle in, this is going to be one of my very favorite daylilies.

PURIFY MY HEART is so pretty! Of course, DESIRE OF NATIONS is a stunner as well...hard to imagine that it will be even better.

Rita, I had a FFO on my LAST CHANCE FOR ROMANCE today (my first ever as it didn't bloom for me last year)...I wonder how yours is...it will be interesting to see how far apart they bloom.

Don't know what we'd do without your pictures to keep us going! I'm down to lates, mostly...still a few waiting to start.

I have a seedling that had its first flower open today, too...the last of the Purple Corn Dancer x North Wind Dancer cross. I have my fingers crossed that it will continue to be this late in future years...yippee! They are all late, but the others are not quite this late...

Anyway, I'll be watching for all your lates...

Wow RitaI love Desire of the Nations! I like the fact that when an Emmerich intro blooms, you can see that her pictures are not a photoshopped mess of color, but just pictures. I love this one.

Mine (LAST CHANCE FOR ROMANCE) did have 2 or so blooms last year. It came as one small fan and is three fans now, I just went and looked. All three fans have scapes but the scape on the largest fan is bigger (older) and closer to bloom while the other two look like they just popped out of the fans so you can see them. If I remember correctly, it is registered as VL.

I hope my bloom keeps up and I hope for more rebloom. Just getting a scattering here and there. Like WOBEGONE GIRL is blooming FFO on its rebloom scape in back of ARRAKIS SUNSET, which is still blooming.

kay- It was the picture on the front covor of Karols little catalog last year and I just couldn't believe how beautiful it was when I saw it. The color is so intense. Then with those ruffled edges with the white line, well its really a very complex flower.

Purify My Heart is absolutelly gorgeous. Also really like Bordello Queen--especially if it's a great bloomer.

Val- BORDELLO QUEEN is just a fabulous dayliliy. It has been blooming now with the others that all started at the same time. Difference is that it still has plenty of buds left. Great branching and plant habit. And mine is still new as I only planted it last spring. I highly recommend this daylily.

Desire of Nations and Purify My Heart are my favs here. Your daylilies are all so stunning. I'm glad you post pictures of them.

They're all lovely but DESIRE OF NATIONS is an absolute stunner. I wanted to get it last year, but think that I really "need it" this year ... LOL... what an enabler you are! Rita, thanks for posting and feeding our addiction even more.

Trust me, you really, really "need" it. A toss-up between DESIRE OF NATIONS and one other for most beautiful face in the garden this year. At the thought of this one as a settled-in, mature plant, the mind totally boggles.
