SWIRLING WATER FFO - I love it but it needs to be moved away from the purple cone flower (echinacea) in order to notice it more.

PALLADIAN PINK in the shadow of me and one in the sun

LADY LIZ in the shade and in the sun, hard to capture the true colors

SCARLET ORBIT suffering from thrips but opening more each time and really trying to show me what it has to offer!

DRIVING ME WILD - is doing the opposite for me so far. I hope it improves.

AGAMEMNON - always brightens my day!

FERENGI GOLD duo, sorry not in focus, they should be larger but are blooming small so far

BARBARA MITCHELL twins - surprised me today b/c usually they are recurved but I'm liking them better this way!

WOODSIDE ROMANCE - very prolific and blooms will get bigger and better!

ALABAMA JUBILEE looking better today

WEB OF INTRIGUE - always perfect

TANGIBLE DISTINCTION - so many buds for it's first year, blooms should be larger. I need to move it b/c it's right next to Waiting for Peace and they are too similar.

Everything looks good. I like PALLADIAN PINK in the shadow and in the sunlight both. WOODSIDE ROMANCE looks like such a lovely pink. Bloom season seems to be in full swing at your place.

Thank you everyone! :) Jim, honestly I do not know if it is a rebloomer, but now you've got me thinking..usually I prune it hard after it flowers, maybe this year I'll let it go awhile longer and see if it does rebloom. I can't wait till my NBJ's bloom. Got any pix of yours in bloom? Anyone know if they will bloom 1st year from seed? Karyn, and Jim..have you guys tried the Knockout roses? They are the easiest rose to grow in my opinion. They bloom from spring till the first killing frost here. DH's uncle couldn't believe I still had roses blooming at the end of November last year, he was absolutely amazed...was the good ol KO's! I know the KO's are all the rage in Florida, they bloom year round there if I remember corectly. Yes Shawn, the KO roses are a carefree rose, you don't even have to prune, but I am constantly removing the spent flowers and trimming off the hips. I only leave the hips over the winter. And they are disease and black spot resistant as well. But my reds have some kinda lil white spots on the leaves this year..don't know what's up with that, otherwise they look healthy, blooms are nice. I WISH my whole yard was one big flower bed! DH and kids are ready to kill me as it is, lol. Yes, the Snow on The Mtn is a groundcover, supposed to be only 12" tall, but mine is over that, how about yours? It's so pretty isn't it? I need more.. I wonder if I can seperate that? I love variegated plants. I wish everything I had was variegated. Karyn, yes the passi seeds, mandevilla laxa, and the night blooming jasmine are all from seeds you sent me that I started in Jan. Oh, and the KMOTGG which I absolutely LOVE BTW, it hasn't even flowered yet, but I am SO in love with the foliage..so pretty, and o soooo soft!!! I could sleep on that plant, lol. Thank you! :) Theresa, lmao, I need to surround my whole dang yard with it! Thanks again everyone :)

Well, I had my reply all wrote out,and I found I had a word very mispelled, and tried to back up and correct it, and I lost it all. makes me so mad when this happens. anyway,Thank you all for looking and the very nice comments.I had a time to get a picture of SCARLT ORBIT, Its planted pretty close to the house,and that first flower, just had to face the house. well, since I was sick,I ended up with more problems so I use a cane to walk now, one with the 4 little legs on it, so I had to use that to get back to it without stepping on some thing or breaking scapes, but,I done it. Just going to end these with this pretty yellow lily..I have some more that had its first bloom today, too, but,Couldnt get a photo of them, I tried but, didn't work. I did not go out till almost 10 today, thinking wouldn't be no new ones blooming,and they don't open good early. well, they were all open good and that sun felt like it was 90 out. And, I could not see what I was doing with the camera, I thought I had took photos of the others but, when they got put in the pc, all I had was leaves, nob loom so, deleted them. just have to go out for pictures by 7am if I am going to be able to see them in the camera. jean

Thank you Val. Some are better than others but improvement is on the way. It's been very hot for the last few days and we are supposed to get some rain wed nite and Thurs. That will help!! Linda, that's pretty much why she was named that. Frank Smith said some kept repeating " Fabulous" as they went through the garden so, hence, her name. Natanya, they are beautiful!
When I photograph the really light colors in bright sun, I put the camera on manual and set the f-stop for 13 or 14 with speed 400 to 500. It usually works pretty well and the colors come out true. You could always try it and see what you get.

I love Alabama Jubilee and it is sunfast. Your photo of Tangible Distinction is especially lovely.

I'm really liking that Scarlett Orbit. I've been wanting some red daylilies & I like that one. Thanks for some gorgeous photos! They're all so lovely!

Your Swirling Water is gorgeous. I planted that one last year, and it didn't bloom very well, so I'm hoping for a better performance.

I know what you mean about not always being able to capture the true color of Lady Liz, I have the same problem, but yours are very pretty, just the same.

Web of Intrigue - always perfect? You are so lucky to have it open perfectly. Mine will not open well if the weather is too cool!

I love Alabama Jubilee - nice photography!

I love Woodside Romance and Palladian Pink (in the shadow - it looks a little peachy in the sun).

Lady Liz doesn't look too bad either. I have and love Swirling Water, too.

Very nice collection of blooms! PALLADIAN PINK just jumped out at me...it is so pristine! I laughed at your comment about BARBARA MITCHELL, as your "uncommon" form is the way it usually opens here. We get the heavy recurve when the evenings have been warm for a few days in a row here, but that is the exception rather than the norm.
