Look what I got today!! RAIN (and blooms = pics)

Today was the first day in a LONG time that I woke up and it wasn't already 88 degrees plus at 7am. It was a nice 72 degrees with a slight breeze and as I went outside it started to rain!! We have been so hot (100's daily) and zero rain - so it was like paradise for me. Overcast weather made for great photos!!

Mask and Metaphor and Very Berry Ice are cute. I don't have many bi-tones/bi-colors, but am getting to like the ones I see. Especially the pink ones like these.

I am so glad you are getting some relief. Hope it sticks around for a while for you.

Lrae..LOL...go ahead, I'll post some more for you to drool over soon. :) Chris...yep those Munsons will do it every time. You should see my Munson beds, really getting lots of bloom now and so pretty. Actually this is Thebes 2nd bloom season in my garden. Gnomey....thanks, but I just get lucky I guess, that and I've got a great camera! LOL Judy....get out there girl...you need more dl's, don't you know? :) Missylin...glad you enjoyed looking at my dl's. CK is a real beauty in person, but then again, most of them are to me. :) barbiescrapes....as I told gnomey, I guess I just get lucky and have a good camera. CINDY; Thank you for asking about my wrist.Its been hurting so bad lately,I have been wearing a wrist support on it.The Dr, told me it would hurt for a few months, but,I really didn't think it would hurt this much, not now,since them pins and rod are out of it now.Where t hem pins was through my arm and hand,into the bones,hurts and sends stabbing pains in my hand and arm.The wrist support helps some.I just hope this pain is not going to be a permanent thing. I kept trying hard to get a picture of them birds in flight.Some times they just stay in one place,mid air,looking at you, but fly away before you can get their picture.I like watching them.They fight over the feeders. Hey fairy,
Bless your heart, we were there recently, so I am very happy for you. We have actually had a small break from the sizzling heat, so that has been fabulous. Tomorrow it is over, but I have so enjoyed working in decent weather.

Your photos are lovely. I especially like Out of the Blue.

Glad to hear that you got some much needed rain. I am sure the daylilies loved it. It rained here too earlier and its drizzeling now.

Humm, now what would I pick as my favorite of the group? I have to go with VERY BERRY ICE. Its a really lovely bi-tone.

I'm so happy to hear you finally got some rain. I'm surprised you still have that many blooming. Are msot on rebloom? The seedling is cute? Who are the momma and papa?

So not fair, not fair and again not fair....I'm happy you got some rain but sure wish some would come my way. My flowers are thirsty. It has cooled a bit here though so that helps some...VBI is my daylily of choice today!!!! Ellie

Heaven's Declaring sure does have a lot of faces. I like the look in the pic you posted. Mine has never looked that pink in the eye zone. Very pretty, and I like that seedling too.

I am glad you got some rain, too.A little fell here, too, but not enough to help this hard ground here, but,just got a weather bullentin that severe storms with hail and high winds are on the way.I can do without the hail and wind,but the rain is much needed. I just love that SURF. its gorgeous,and so is VERY BERRY ICE.LOve them Bi Tones.maybe some day I will have a couple/Your blooms looks so pretty with the rain drops on them.Love it.

I'm glad you got rain. We had a couple of years of severe drought, so I can sympathize with the need and the rejoicing when it rains.

All of your blooms are pretty but I especially like Jenny Butterfield.
