More Catching Up Pictures

Thanks so much for all the nice comments on my pictures. I love taking them every morning and love having someone to share them with. The kids love it too. lol I hate for the computer to go down. I've missed seeing everyone else's pictures. I'm going to try and look at some tonight. If I don't get caught up, I'll have something to do when the blooms end. Here's some more from the weekend.

Beautiful :-)) My very favorites are Rose Masterpiece and Absolute Treasure. I just love those shades of pink.

Nat, LIGHT OF THE WORLD has been a great plant so far. Last year was its first in the garden and it's doing great. FEMINIST BOOKSTORE has been a little disappointing. It's been doing fine and I love the flower, but for a Hanson plant the bud count and branching has been disappointing. Think I will have to move it and see how it does. Avedon, I love MT. ECHO SUNRISE. Saw it on a garden tour and knew I had to have it. Chris, PATTERNS IN TIME was a bonus plant several years ago and I ended up liking it better than anything I'd ordered.

Marg--MICHAEL MILLER is registered at 30" and that seems about right. It has been a VERY slow increaser here. I do like everything else about it. Jean--thanks for your nice comments. It's going on a week now with this goofy picture posting problem and unless they get it solved by Friday night we've got the "weekend" crew (if there is one) back again and they were a big help before....... Anyway, on to your postings: The red orange one is my favorite. Good color retention in the PM, particularly if the PM was hot. So hard to find a deep color like that in the heat. Kay and Nancy - Purple Peace and Feathered Fingers are two of the newer Lambertsons that seem hardy here. I like the color of PP and white edge. It's certainly not the 38 registered inches here. Scapes are more like 26-27 inches tall. Feathered Fingers is close to being the right height. Nancy - I've had Blue Eyed Butterfly for years, and at one point I had two large clumps, but I sold a clump and a half of it. The grubs have attacked the clump left the past two years, so mine is blooming on very short scapes. I've moved to an area that's been treated for grubs, and I hope I can rehabilitate it. Debra

Absolute Treasure and Rose Masterpiece are my favorites too!

Rita, are you sure we aren't related? lol.

I think Absolute Treasure was on my short list one year and I still haven't gotten it. Maybe this will be the year.

The ones I liked out of those pics are Absolute Treasure, Pearl Harbor, Mulberry Street, and Royal Renaissance. Now tell me something how tall do they get and do they require a lot of care? How long do their blooms last and will they rebloom?

Odd man out here, but I like the porcelain look of Rings of Time. My Rose Masterpiece bloomed this year for the first time and I was impressed. It won the prize for earliest bloom here. You took a great picture of Rose Masterpiece as well as all the others.

Don't you just love ROSE MASTERPIECE? So glad I got it. I also have PEARL HARBOR which is just starting to bloom. A long bloomer for me here.

I like RINGS OF TIME. So soft looking. Great pics!

I love the Rose Masterpiece & Absolute Treasure, but I think my favorite is also Rings of Time. Great pictures!

I like them all, but am another fan of RINGS OF TIME. It has such a delicate fairy tale look to it... just beautiful!

Every one is a beauty, but Rose Masterpiece is my favorite. That's a daylily I planted several years ago that's never performed well here.

I am usually not the one to be enchanted with such a delicate, soft look as Rings of Time, but it really struck my fancy tonight when I saw it. Was one of those for me that I had to look at again and again. I don't know where it is planted in your beds, but that would be so pretty side by side of Rose Masterpiece, as she is a beauty, also.
