I think I am reaching peak bloom and I don't have time to go through all my pictures, but I picked some for you to see. A couple I have shown before, but I like them so much I am posting new pics of them. Hope you find something you like.

COSENZA is a stunner. I find that white pale watermark and green eye very pleasing. Love those first three purples also.

Oh I found something I like alright, about a dozen of them!! Geez Ann...talk about enabler!! Where am I going to plant all my future dl's, I ask you? LOL

Juliet,Yes, I would say that the pic of Pink Lemonade party is true to the actual color. Everyone has an opinion on what the ideal pink color is. My choices from the more recent CV's has been PINK LEMONADE PARTY, APRIL LAQUINTA, NEON FLAMINGO, and PINK ALOHA. I have yet to acquire PINK ALOHA, but I will at some time in the future, and I'm sure I'll discover a few other pinks that have that wonderful bright clear pink color Linda

Chris: INCA PUZZLE has 10 fans and SUMMERTIME IDYLL has only 6. And I bought these as double fans in 2009. I have to say though I think SI would have done better if I put it in a spot where it had more room from the beginning. Hopefully moving it will improve the increase. Debra: RED SLEEVED WARRIOR is really shining this year. I got this from Curt in 2010 and now it is hitting its stride. I think the last couple of rainfalls we've gotten really helped. Avedon: INCA PUZZLE is a favorite of mine here. Always does well and increases nicely. Julia

iris_gal, Sir John Betjemen is a great rose for a pot. He is about 3' tall and 3.5' wide. His color changes some with the weather, darker when cooler and lighter when it's hot. He does not have a lot of fragrance but he flowers a lot and the flowers last a long time on the bush. No disease here in SoCal.

Thanks everyone!! If it wasn't for Seil, my pics would still be just point and click! Seil, your pictures just look so real! Thanks for the Inspiration!! Nummy, the lawn edging is done with concrete pavers that fit into each other. The nice thing about them is that you can do curves as well. The main reason for the edging is so that the bot can cut all the way to the edge. 'Henry' and his big brother have been doing our lawns since last year lol. And what a pleasure - no more grass cuttings and no more edges to do!! rosecanadian, LOTS AND LOTS of dandelions and other stuff. We live sort of in the country and the farmer next door has a field which he just leaves to grow wild. Quite pretty with all the wild flowers. It isn't so bad now that the lawn is established. Here you can see the field behind the irises.

Your pics are all wonderful, but that #6 seedling sure does rock. Sure do hope you'll post pics of the blooms following that FFO.

Well, I found a lot of them I like..I like all of them,especially the first two,and love them seedlings.Can not pick a favorite out of them.I would have to choose all of them.Thanks for sharing them.

Rita, when I saw that first bloom on Cosenza, I just stood and stared. It was such a beautiful color of pink that the camera doesn't quite capture. It had another outstanding bloom today. I love it!

Debra, I like both of those seedlings too. The first one is a first year plant and #3 is in its second year and looking so much better this year.

Several of you liked seedling #6. This was its first bloom so I am anxious to see if that strange shaped eye emerges in all its blooms.

I appreciate all the kind comments. The registered daylilies have had wonderful size and outstanding color this spring. I am sure that is because of enough moisture. By the way, I did not play with the color on Sherry Candy - this is what it looked like. I really like it.

Geez, where do I begin?! To keep it short they are all gorgeous! If I was hybridizing I would want people to tell me which ones they like so I'm tossing in my vote on #4!

I too have Cosenza my 1st bloom suffered from the cold. It's getting ready to bloom again & stoked to see that coming!

How long have you had Larry's Obssession? Your pics are not in line about what I have been hearing as to how ugly it is?! I think it is gorgeous! W/O the rumors, I would have had it by now if it looks like your picture!

Those are gorgeous! I love your seedling #7, and also #3 that looks as if it has the coloring of Bubble Yummin Mama.

Of course Cosenza has that beautiful coloring but I also love the first three being a pink/purple fanatic.

WOW! What a nice group of flowers and seedlings! They are all so wonderful that I have a very hard time choosing a favorite out of either group, but if I had to...just can't get over the coloring on Sherry Candy, and adore seedling #4.
