Fulva in South Texas?

I live in San Antonio, Texas.

I can't figure out whether fulva is semi-evergreen or dormant. However, it seems to grow "wild" in Florida, where they also recommend evergreen types.

Fulva wouldn't be considered invasive here in San Antonio.

They basically recommend "evergreens" for Texas. However, at the same time, the promote and promote the Stellas. Go figure!!!

Anyway, just wondering how Fulva (Ditch lily) grows in mild winter climates? (Our winters are about the same as parts of Florida, the northern part.)

It doesn't matter to me whether it is dormant or not, just how it would grow in areas with limited winter chill.

Thank you.
