We're putting in a butterfly garden and this stuff has got to go. If you have an interest speak now or forever hold your peace...it's shallow rooted and very easy to move intact.

Alright Tom, I had to speak up before it's too late. I think you should keep the liriope. It is beautiful, always looks good, and easy to stick some where else if that's what you want to do. With all the big oaks you have, don't you have other places it can beautify your yard? It is so good in deep shade where few other things are. If it were me, I would keep it in the butterfly garden right now. It will provide much needed background greenery and you might be able to plant around it in clumps. When your butterfly plants get bigger, you can still remove some if you'd like? I just think it's so pretty, and butterfly plants go through ebbs and tides of looking good. Ok, that's my two cents' worth.
