Sunday, a couple!

I felt so bad today that I didn't do anything but take a short walk this morning. I am still felling bad so I will make this short! The singular sensation baby has been posted before but she is hanging in with the edge so I wanted you to see.. Ellie

I hope you feel better soon. Both are really, really pretty. Very difficult to choose between them. I think I like the second slightly more.

I hope you are feeling better tomorrow! Getting outside in the heat can't make it better though, stay cool.
Both seedlings are so very pretty. I love the color in the 1st picture, but that is a beautiful edge on the 2nd.

I would need a better picture to be sure, but if the scratches are not red or swollen I would let it be for now. Keep a very close eye on him. If there is any redness or signs of an infection you will need to treat it. It might be a good idea to put him in a bowl just for a few minutes so you can get a good close look and maybe snap a few photos. The main concern would be your recent increase in aeromonas bacteria. This bacteria is opportunistic and will usually do nothing until a koi is injured or weakened in some way, then it moves right in and causes an infection. So you definitely need to check on him daily to make sure all is well. In this case, the salt is probably helping him.

Why aren't other agents showing my home?

Our agent told us since he was incurring the cost of advertising the property and doing most of the legwork, that's why his part of the commission is larger. I posted on a local realtor board and was told 2 percent is the average around here, and a lot of agents aren't showing homes that offer 1.5. I asked our agent to change it to 2. I don't even know how to be sure that he has, but then again I just looked at my listing on craigslist which says we have stainless steel appliances. We don't. It's also still advertising an open house for "this Sunday" (no date) when the open house was this past Sunday. I'm so sick of these errors. From misspellings, to inaccurate facts, to having no signs for the open house, showing up 10 minutes before it started (he said he'd be here 30 minutes early), to not posting the virtual tour on realtor.com until a month after going on the market, the commission issue, telling other agents we need 24 hours notice even after we more than clarified we don't, turning away a showing, etc. It's hard to wrap my head around all this when the guy's not even getting paid until he makes the sale. He's young. Maybe he only remembers the good times of real estate when these things didn't matter. Like I said, we can't act until the weekend/next week. Thanks for your words of wisdom and patience with my tale of woe in the meantime. Man, I screwed this one UP.

Both seedlings are lovely. I love the edge on the second one....so thick and fringy. Hope you get to feelin' better real soon Ellie.

I hate to hear you aren't feeling well. Stay inside, it's way too hot out there! Easier said than done, I know! I hope you feel better soon cuz we need more than just two pics....LOL!
I love both your seedlings. I've made more singular sensation crosses this season after seeing your pics.

Sorry to hear you are feeling bad. Hope you are better soon. Your seedlings are both beautiful. I like the way the ruffled edge is showing on the sepals also in the 2nd one.

Both of those seedlings are real winners. The first one apppeals to my love of rose pink, watermarks and gently ruffled edges. It's my kind of daylily 100 percent. The second one has that superb edge going for it. You can be very proud of both! I hope you are feeling better tomorrow. Take it easy.

First one is nice, but the second one is FANTASTIC, you can post that as many times as you like.. IMO the form is just perfect!

I am feeling some better Rita, Thanks. The plant is so small on the second one that it can barely hold the bloom. I didn't think it was old enough to bloom...

LOL! ngraham, if I could just put the edge from the second onto the first, I would be in high clover! I stayed inside mostly today and do feel better, thanks..

Nancy, I think Singular Sensation and Candied Popcorn Perfection both make pretty babies.. I went outside about six and came inside before eight. There is so much to do and it's to hot to do it.. Hehehe!!

Thank you Debra. I have another seedling from the same pod as the first that I really love. It has bloomed 2 years but I think my dh tilled it up. By the time I found it, it was mostly gone. I do still have it though..

Gee thanks Silverkelt. I was amazed that it didn't lose any of it edge as it bloomed. I find that the second year, they are better or worse but definitly change the second year. I can't wait to see next years!!
