This time last week we were two days past DH's rotator cuff surgery, dealing with wind, rain, pain, agitation, aggravation and no electricity for 24 hours. It was hot and humid and miserable. We did not expect that a 'tropical depression' could be so bad.

Monday we were under a tornado watch nearly all day. A tornado actually passed just over in the next county, but did not touch down that I'm aware of. Then the creek flooded and the river reached flood stage. We were not directly affected.
Since then we've been to physical therapy, got past the worst of the pain, hired the tree cut up and are now preparing for what may come our way in the outer bands of Gustav.
I put pics taken today in the Gallery. I'm grateful that we survived with only minor damage, that butterflies returned and flowers still bloom. I pray that all in the paths of the coming storms will be prepared and safe.
