I'll need to post some seedlings later, but have to head out soon to take the boss to the airport. :)

Garden shot is lovely. These are all pretty, but Raspberries and Cream is my favorite.

Looking good Kay.BLACK FATHOM DEPTHS is such a pretty bloom. I was quite surprised that BFD survived our winter here so I guess it is quite hardy in the north. RED EYED FANTASY is striking. Does it have that much white or is it more yellowy in person. Julia

Night Rhythm is my favorite it sure has a pretty color. Jean instead of dragging and dropping your photos I copy and paste mine, I just open my albums and at the bottom of each picture you should see a HTML box I just right click on the code next to it and you should see a window that says copy I click on copy and then go back to the forum and the message you are posting and right click again on your mouse and you should see paste click on paste and it should post to your message. When I upload I use the browse files option which is listed under drag and drop and open my picture files that way. I can upload multiple photos when I open the right picture file by holding down the CTRL key and clicking on the pictures I want and then hitting the open key when I'm finished choosing my photos. Mantis. funny thing about my camera,when I was trying to take pictures the day before these was took, the camera wouldn't work after a couple photos it wouls quit. then after a hour or so, try again and it would work again. it stopped working one time while I was taking these, and I took the batteries out and just put them back in and it started working again.I have no idea whats wrong with it, but, today,I took a bunch of pictures again and it worked perfect every time. Thank you Debra and all who looked at them and commented on them, thank you so much. jean

Deangreen, that is a birdhouse sold by Rock City. We had to almost rebuild it to make it stable, but I like it because of memories of barns with "see Rock city" signs painted on the roofs. Nat4b, Cast Your Crown is not a large bloom, but packs a lot into the space. Thanks, Jean. That's too bad. A couple of my daylilies took some damage, but I didn't lose any. I did lose so0me roses though. Maryl, The hot pink is Wall of fire, and the red to the right of it is a Munson called African Plum...it is red, but has some purplish hues in it as the light strikes it. I am enjoying Gus, since he likes to keep me company when I'm in the garden...especially when I pick blueberries for some reason. Ikad, it is another small bloom, but such a pretty one. Mantis, he is a pretty little cat. Much smaller than my indoor tabbies. I don't know how it is, but the path isn't as spacious as it once was. I am planning a change in the big front bed this fall. I plan to move the large lilies to another area and plant daylilies and hecheras there. Mantis is right, Chris. that is Wall of Fire...it is an eye-catching bloom and is little bothered by thrips. No, Juliana, Rocks Cry Out and Cast Your Crown are both toothy, but The colors are similar. CYC is about half the size bloom as RCO. RCO has a two color effect to the petals, but not the sepals, (bitone) and CYC had the same color on petals and sepals. CYc has is toothy on sepals and petals. See below for comparison. CYC is much smaller and is red with the golden toothy edge: Because of the color similarity and the toothiness, I'm sure they are "kin", but haven't looked them up. As for being at peak, I have a lot of plants already putting up instant rebloom so who knows how it will end up. I'm sending as many daylilies as he will take home with my brother this week. He is coming up from Shreveport and wants some daylilies. kay

My favorites are Mildred Mitchell and SC Behavior Pattern. I love Raspberries and Cream, but I can't keep it alive here. I bought it twice, and lost it twice.

This winter was mild and Raspberries in Cream made it through at my house, but not my Dad's (we split the order last summer). His was in an open area, mine next to the house.

whoa that mildred mitchell very nice artwork going on there! and great applique (sp?) going on if that's what the call it on behavior pattern. the last pic is also very interesting and smoky indeed you really have some nice variety there.

Love the bed shot, so many blooms! Geneva Firetruck is nice and bright, love it. And my favorite is Raspberries in Cream, so pretty. I saw it 2 years ago for the first time and had to have it (when the price came down ;)) I am sad to read that it is so tender :(( It's actually the smallest of the last year news ones in my garden, but has a little scape. I will hope!

Celeste-I am lucky enough to have a father and aunt who share with me sometimes on nicer flowers. As well as some people from the garden club who sell me things at a discounted price when theirs grow some. Plus I've found some great deals at Maryott and a few finds on the lily auction. I've been working on getting nicer flowers for the past ten years. :)
