a few new photos from yesterday

I think I have finally mastered this bucket,as I have been able to upload about 49 photos to it this time without a problem,,NOw if I could only get rid of their ad's that keep popping up in the way every few minutes.anyway, here is some new ones I haven't showed yet this season,and a few that I have shown before, but new blooms.:)

maybe a better photo on this one.

ok, i'll quit here for now and post more later , when these storms stops awhile. we are getting one behind the other now and I'm sure the daylilies has had enough too.

Your blooms are bursting now. Nice group.
We had some terrific thunderstorms on Sunday night and the rain was welcomed as the ground was starting to get too dry. Still overcast today with a few showers so gardening work is on hold again but it will be easier to pull those weeds once I'm able to get back out again.

Beautiful Edgings is beautiful :) Mine usually does that lower sepal sticking out too, but it doesn't bother me like with other daylilies. Debra, you are lucky! My DH says that they didn't know what an earwig was just a few years ago. They are nasty looking creatures. Marric there was a thread here on GW actually titled How to get rid of earwigs, IIRC. Maybe you can find it. I livehead once in a while, did regularly last year, and frankly I didn't notice much difference. They are not only in the flower they are at the base between the leaves too. Spoiled too many of my pictures. It would be interesting to see that Eyeliner lily when she applies her makeup

Cracking - Purple Grasshopper is a small one. I think it's very cute. Rita - Coral Majority with its glowing neon color has been a real joy all month. Julia - That photo of Wizard's Wish was taken in the evening after a 97-degree day. It holds its color pretty well in extreme heat. Debra

Wow! Gulf frits here, gulf frits there, here a gulf, there a gulf, everywhere a gulf-gulf! Pretty cool, Cindee!! Love it! And here's one I meant to post above and forgot. I just happened to catch a green sweat bee on the coneflower, and it was being chased around by another type of little bee. They were very busy playing King of the Hill on the center of the bloom. Thanks everyone, I really do like the NOID. I have no tag with it & nothing that approaches the description. Seems like I faintly remember getting a noid from someone, so that is probably it. I don't know why I didn't put a tag with it. There may be a label buried with it, but I don't want to dig it for a while. That it reblooms really makes it a great one. Gray kitty is getting a bit more confident all the time. He is always watchful & jumps at the least noise. I like to sit by the pond for a little while in the morning & afternoon, & he sits on the bench beside me. He is gradually working his way into my lap the last few days, first just putting the front legs on me, then just the last couple of days sitting on my lap. He acts rather awkward about it like he hasn't done it before :) Maybe he just feels it isn't "manly". Roady takes that pretty well, but he hates the cat to follow me around the yard-that is his job. Poor Roady hasn't a bit of muscle to him & doesn't weigh a lot, but the tabby is bigger & very muscular, probably a lot bigger. So far he runs from Roady & backs down from the fights, but I think he is figuring it out. Hope it doesn't work out to a real fight.

You have a nice variety in bloom now. My favorites are Electric Marmalade Magic and Wonder of It All.

I thought your camera was broken. These are some very good pics, and even those in the sun are very clear (well, yellows and whites are very difficult in sun). Enduring Freedom is my fave.

Mantis. funny thing about my camera,when I was trying to take pictures the day before these was took, the camera wouldn't work after a couple photos it wouls quit. then after a hour or so, try again and it would work again. it stopped working one time while I was taking these, and I took the batteries out and just put them back in and it started working again.I have no idea whats wrong with it, but, today,I took a bunch of pictures again and it worked perfect every time.
