maryl, I have plenty of space, but I have more than I want to take care of now. So, I'm looking at every DL with a more critical eye. And yes, LMM is a blooming machine! Debra, Most DL's take a couple of years to settle in after I plant them. The blooms are skimpy and the scapes are short at first. But LMM took off running. You did gooooood - thank you! Arif, Most of us have to wait 4 or 5 years for a daylily to become a mature clump. But at the rate you are going, you may only have to wait 4 or 5 more weeks. ;-) Tell us your secrets! Nate, Good question. I don't know the answer. I've seen the Stamile butterfly collection - stunning. Julia, I'm going to post another photo of BLUE-EYED BUTTERFLY because I feel guilty for the bad marks I gave it for perfomance. This is why I let it stay - I have three more clump pics from today. This one doesn't have a fancy bloom, but it is the perfect size to me (about 30 x 6), foliage is always nice, and it is very vigorous. It's a Curt Hanson daylily that I don't see often. FOLLOW YOUR HEART - DUBLIN ELAINE was showing off today - This one never doubles for me until it reblooms. Fortunately, it makes a pretty single bloom. DARK WONDER - Kathy

Thanks all. There certainly were plenty of weeds in these photos. Wish I could find a way to weed free. Chris - Gilded Knight is one of those highly underrated daylilies. Connie - Wisest of Wizards all puts on a good show, and ususally reblooms here. Kathy - The photo of Media Frenzy was taken at the end of the day. It starts out a darker color. The registration calls it plum rose. It clumps up really fast. Debra

Thank you so much everyone for looking and for the nice compliments. I was quite surprised to get up yesteray and see so many clumps of flowers. We had had a little rain the day before, and the flowers must have really like it. Supposed to have a good chance of rain tomorrow, and I will hope for a similar effect. Debra, sometimes Emperor Butterfly will not open til a little later in the day, and that can be a problem. Today it was great. Hostabuff, I had a hard time finding Can You Hear Me Now, and it is a great one that always opens perfectly. Sarah, I had to have Roman Cohort when Debra (shive) posted pics of hers. Nat4b. Chris - You and I have the same view on clump shots. LOL Even so, I really enjoyed seeing your bed shots. The bee balm is really doing well there! My favorite daylilies of these are Please Say Yes and Lord Chamberlain. I love the bicolors and bitones, so I may add Please Say Yes at some point - especially since I have more planting room now that two trees are gone. Debra
