Comments (3)I usually order only from van engelen/john scheepers, but this year I'm trying a couple of new ones, touch of nature and high country gardens, for some fall flowering bulbs, that ve/js don't carry. Some of my purchases in the past have been from a local dutch bulb importer at their retail location. They have always had good stock at a very reasonable price, but last fall's purchases performed very poorly, so I'm skipping them this year. Also purchased 100 daffs from cosco this week, a couple of new varieties that I don't have. They are large, firm bulbs, so we shall see how they perform. Have never purchased bulbs from them or sams or any other big box store before, but others have and were completely satisfied. Rb...See Moremail order bulb company?
Comments (4)I would not order from Amaryllis Bulb Company. Almost every bulb I ordered from them had to be replaced 1 or more times due to rot and disease and they are badly mislabled. See my post about Double Record! They are in Florida and I found they just do not ship well to the cooler parts of the country. When I spoke to the very nice lady and suggested that some of mine from other suppliers had arrived in bubble wrap and done much better, she could not figure out why they did not rot...(But they came through much better then her bulbs!)I am crossing this company off my list, though you might get healthy bulbs in the early fall from her. She did replace my bulbs several times but in the end we decided to part compnay with mutual agreement that it just wasn't working out and I got refunds on them....See Moremail order to canada that ships mandarins or pummelos

Comments (6)Hi Lilac953 I grow fig trees in containers, my collection is Brown Turkey, Negronne, White Genoa, Italian Golden Honey, and some unknown those are a few years old trees. Just last month I receive an order off cuttings from Portugal, Black Madeira all had rooted. There is a man that has orchard in Oliver he sells fig trees on Penticton Farmers market, not just yet ! They are in 2 gallon container about 3 to 4 fit tall with 4 to 8 ripening fig on. Most of them are unknown, but I give him some named cuttings so I hope he did not mix it up. You will not find a better deal. I am sure he would by happy to see you in his greenhouse, let me know. You really can learn a lot from him. Also you can call me at 1 250 493 0179 I would be happy to share the little I know about growing fig trees. Anna...See Morehykue Zone 7 Vanc. Island
