Glad to see someone else has Royal Occasion. How does it do for you? It is a massive bloomer in our garden, but suffers the meltdown in the afternoon when the sun hits it. Too bad, for we love the color. I am looking for another place to move it to get afternoon shade, but that is proving to be difficult here. I also like the Lime Frost, I don't have it, but I like white daylilies. Avedon

Kay and Avedon--Love on a Wire has been fabulous this year. It has increased well, looks good every day and has a high bud count. Parade of Peacocks is fairly new and is in the jungle section of my yard so I can't even get in there to count buds, but I really love the way it looks. It just started blooming a few days ago. mantis--Love on a Wire has been blooming since July 10. That may be closer to mid than early mid, but there is so much overlap it's hard to tell. I appreciate all the input everyone. Here's my last year's pic of Judy, which is how it generally bloomed. I bought it while it was blooming from Dave Bowman [Foxhaven Daylilies]. Even if it isn't Judy, I'm not disappointed. I like it better than the pics above. I don't mind having an excellent NOID, especially for the price paid--he was getting rid of a whole section of his garden for $5-10 each, including some of his past intros! It was a bloom I liked as well as it had 4 or 5 branches. Any ideas based on the picture below what it might be?

Very pretty! I'm picking Secret Friend as my favorite because it has pleated petals in this phot. Love those throat pinchers! August Wedding is a very pretty white!

Lime Frost and August Wedding great. I am on a hunt for good whites. All are pretty but I am trying to keep my focus, lol. Everyone here makes it so hard.

I like Clown Parade, and the whites, August Wedding and Lime Frost the most, all flowers look great! And the last lily is pretty!
June 25 doesn't seem like VLate, for Lime Frost :) Mine has scapes now, and was Mid last year too. I like it anyway.

CLOWN PARADE is always such a beauty, and I love STUMBLIN STONE.AUGUST WDDING is really pretty too,I have not heard of that one before.The lily is very pretty, too.

ngraham, you have some really pretty one, and while you know I love Clown Parade, I am going to Secret Friend as my favorite today. I like the orange seedling, and Lake Norman spider is looking good too.

I like the combo pic of Clown Parade & Stumbling Stone. They do look good together.Tuscawilla Bill Reed has that wonderful big green throat. Nice pics!

Avedon, Royal Occasion can melt down here too, but has been good so far this year. We've had lower temps the last week or more though, under 90. When it gets to mid 90s it really breaks down. Tuscawilla Blackout seems to melt worse than RO. I moved Royal Occasion last fall, maybe it is where I planted it, between lighter daylilies, it really stands out this year.
I planted Tuscawilla Bill Reed in my white garden, thinking it was very white. I may move it elsewhere, but it really is a good daylily. Nice substance
August Wedding had its first 2 blooms in my garden yesterday, perfect blooms, just love the daylilies you don't have to wait for a good bloom.
I guess everyone knows how I love Clown Parade.

Caledonia is a wonderful shade of yellow in this picture. I assume that the sunny picture of Secret Friend makes it darker looking than other web pictures?

It was taken in the sun, but Secret Friend was indeed this color today, I really like it this shade. I'm rather wondering if this is indeed Caledonia, the shape doesn't really look quite right. Still, odd things are happening to my daylilies this year. Temple Goddess is normally a very pastel, almost white daylily, this year much more pink/salmon color, I thought at first I had moved it.

Blooms slow down at your house just as bloom heat up at my house LOL!
