Ever since I read that article about hipp breeding trends I have been wanting some everblooming bulbs. Anybody have any others to add to the list? Also, which cultivars have the biggest blooms? According to the Hadeco website their biggest single flowers hipps are Hollywood at 22cm Merry Christmas at 21cm Noel at 20cm Gold Medal at 20cm And for doubles... Rozetta at 22cm Fluffy Ruffles at 21cm Rio at 20cm First Love at 20cm My Favourite at 20cm Snow White at 20cm Ragtime at 20cm Razmatazz at 20cm Stars 'n Stripes at 20cm

I giggled when I saw this post, ironically the exact same thing is happening to me! It has been in the ground for maybe a month & mine is much smaller than yours. I walk around every day to see how they are all doing & noticed a weird knobby fan coming out of my new IG. I had to get down real close & sure enough it was a new scape coming up! It came from the same gardening zone as I, so I know it's not out of whack. It is listed as a rebloomer & can only expect it to do much better next year. After seeing this post I had to take a pic to show you how tiny this bugger is. I do plan to cut it off in the next day or 2. Julia, ironically you bring up Spiritual Corridor as well. New to my yard back in June & finished blooming July ? & is getting ready to bloom again with just 1 scape. Hopefully that will be a winner too next year. =""

Brad, I am envious right now. Indian Giver was a new addition to my garden this spring and I think it might have died. It has withered away to nothing right now, no sign of life : ( This would be my first ever daylily casuality. Guess I will know next spring. Any more pictures? It has been so quiet here. Sherry

From casual observation of the picture at the top of this thread I'd say 1) the Indian Stripe shown is uncharacteristically large and does not have the caracteristic flattened shape, 2) the Cherokee Purple tomatoes shown are uncharacteristically small if all the tomatoes on that plant average that diminuative size. ***** Ray, what Hoosier wrote is the same as I wrote elsewhere as in just not what I would expect to see normally. I also said that I thought it was possible that the seeds of one or the other were not true for the variety but you responded that your source was reliable. See what they ripen up to and do count the number of fruits per truss b'c it is different for CP and IS as should be fruit size and shape and usually timing of first fruits. Not much more I can say at this point. Carolyn
