Big figs in Williamsburg Va.

I live about an hour from Colonial Williamsburg Va.

We go there from time to time and I paid more attention to the figs this time. I found several that must not ever die to the ground even though they are in zone 7B.

I have pics of some that I wanted to post here but I am having trouble getting pics to post. I reduce the size of the files until they are not worth posting and they still are too large according to GW. I see pics posted here that are of better quality of what I am trying to post.

When I figure out what I am doing wrong....the pics will follow.

Anyway one "Tree" in particular has several trunks atleast 8" in diameter and a crown spread of 20' or more.

I can see that suckers are removed to keep the tree shape and lower branches are pruned so you can walk under the tree.

Since there is obvious disdain for the poor little rooted suckers(all are cut off or ripped out) one came home with me. I would like to duplicate such a tree in my own yard.

I'm currious as to what variety of fig this is?
