Okay, daisydo has emailed her sent seeds list and I'm sure her seeds will arrive any day now so I'm going to start sorting. I've already "presorted" many on paper and I think this will make it go faster. I'm going to try and have all the packages ready within a week, I hope.....I will post here when they are ready to be mailed. Soon everyone will have a wonderful surprize in their mailbox!!!! hi everyone I will be getting everyone out this week. Along with the holiday, I had to move my husband (for his work). He has been staying in a motel and the company told all of them they'll be paying their own way come Jan 1, so he decided on an apartment. So I had to gather stuff up for an apartment, then help move all of it to the apartment. 4 hour drive there and 4 hours back 2 trips. I was so wore out we slept like logs, he got an upstairs apt and we for sure are not use to stairs, but as soon as my daughter gets up I'll be starting seeds. She slept with me since daddy's gone right now and the bed is usually where I sort my seeds. Thanks for being so pateint, I am usually not this slow. I too feel like I should have been done. It seems like everytime I get started something else comes up. But I am still working on it and I will work all this week on just getting this one thing done. Thanks again Belinda

You mean you aren't starting on next year's gifts & cards ;-)?! I still am in holiday crafting mode with a party tonite & an exchange with a friend & her family. I did sit down with the latest Somerest Studio on New Year's day and finally take the plastic wrap off. That is unheard of for me to wait so long to look at my beloved magazines, lol! It sure did fire up the create juices, though! So as far as specific project plans, all I have is a round robin, a submission project, and my "roundtuit" project notebooks. Did you look at the link to the Cyberstampers/Just Jhone samples under the class transcripts section? The triangular scroll box is way cool! I'd definitely do one for a swap!

saprek, I love it now! Yes, There's a disconnect between the style of the coffee table and the other furrnishings though, as others have mentioned. An iron and glass table would be more "invisible" and would let your rug shine through. Something transparent would be much better there. Does that white chest your using now come off its base? Maybe you could use it elsewhere as a storage piece at the foot of a bed or a toy chest. As for fabric, I was at Calico Corner and they have lots of sort of contemporary fabrics in the colors of your rug. I think they're expensive but if you need only a few yards you'd be okay. I think for curtains I would look at something light, like cream, with banding made of one of the colors in the rug that you really want to pull out. I'm in love with grey and amber/gold right now. I don't like the dark colored curtain there and I don't know if you should go with pattern. It will really lock you in too. If you keep it simple and bright you can switch things up when you're bored. For basic curtains, You can buy cream ready-mades and band it yourself then get extra banding fabric to use for pillows too. The curtain you have up right now is too dark, IMO and closes the room in. If you want light blocking, what about a natural bamboo type shade under curtains? I've seen nice cheap ones at the mass marketers. You can get them lined to really darken the room. But I don't see doing a really "patterned" fabric. I'd say keep the pattern in the throw pillows, a nice plush chenille throw with a little shine, a big shiny platter on the glass coffee table -- what I'm thinking is right now the whole texture looks very matte. It could use some gleam and also shiny things bounce light around and make a space much more interesting and bigger feeling. It's really looking nice. And I think you're brave to buy HDC chairs without trying them out. Glad they're comfy. I actually need two new chairs for my family room.
