Hi Doug, thanks for that. Guess these pesky yellow leaves of mine could as you say be too much/too little water. They do drain quickly in my mix and the weather has been really sunny, so with the addition of small pots for small plants they can and do dry out fast. Maybe I didn't water enough, maybe I drowned it, or it was hungry for food, who knows?? Odd that the others are OK though. I have never come across 'Turface' for sale here. Does it actually retain any of the water, or does it drain instantly and fully? Any nutrients must be added manually at watering time as it's inert? I'll have to make some enquiries as I've just read that it's used by orchid and bonsai growers. I feel a visit to a garden centre looming...again!! In the meantime, it's fingers crossed for my little guy. Gill from the UK.

Hope it works out for the same building but remember, sometimes things can even be an improvement in a different place. Maybe there's even some advantages to the other place? Check it out so you know. I sure understand your reluctance to leave the building. I know I like to stay with a "known commodity" or at least the "devil(s) you know" when possible but have learned that things can work out to be even better at times. If the renters have given notice, they should be able to confirm to you that it'll be available. I don't see any reason why they couldn't. How far away is the other one? I'd try to keep that one available. Talk to the landlord or manager and just tell them it's important to know so you can decide. You really should get it in writing too so they don't talk you into staying and then not get the apartment after giving up the other option. Although I suppose you'd have to give notice there to move to the other building too. Hoping for the best and keeping fingers crossed for you. I'm sure all will be fine. BTW, if I can be of any help when you move, let me know. Be glad to do what I can.

Hey guys, Can you believe I have had the surgery and got to come home TODAY! GOD IS GOOD! My knee was in a worse mess than they thought, shattered the tibia plateau another bone and the cartlidge (pardon the spelling). Now, after 2(one LONG) incisions and lots of metal, they put humpty dumpty back together again,LOL! Surgery Thursday morning, hopping on walker Friday morning and PT bending the knee this morning. No pain med since Fri. AM and NO PAIN (well, not enough for med anyway). Now, if I can just make the next 3 months, absolutely no weight on it before then. Guess I'll find out how long my arms are next week. Gonna try to rest a few day, then get busy. Sandra, yes one story, thank goodness. Andrea, I feel very fortunate too, especially after hearing about Jessica, the POW with both legs broken and her arm. You can always look around and find someone in worse shape than yourself. Thanks Becky, I hope to be back on both feet sooner than the Drs. think. They said I would be in the hospital 3-5 days after surgery and came home in 2 so maybe it won't be 3 months after all.
