Wednesday photo's

Had problems this morning,and could not get outside early for photo's, so was nearly 10am before could get out and the sun was already bright and very hot., but managed to get some.I still had a few more I just couldnt get to them.maybe next time I can. Ok. this first one is first blooms this season and I love this one.It has had better blooms in the past,last year, so I look for it to improve alot.

You have some gorgeous ones today, Jean. I especially like Wild One and Malaysian Marketplace, but Northern Nocturne is lovely to.

Jean, those blooms all look good to me. But I like WILD ONE the very best of this batch.

Thanks Avedon! I know Rita, I've already been eyeing plants that need to be moved. Would have already done it but these days I wait til fall :) I know Sarah,strange name. Panoply-I misspelled it earlier-means impressive dress, or protective armor. So does that mean it is going to look really good tomorrow? Or is this how it looks before it puts on its armor? Where DO they get the names? Must have a different meaning somewhere.

I wish I knew of more polychromes...I'm not the hugest fan of yellow and most seem to be yellow. Nat, I've got more photos of Troubled Sleep...just have to get them off the camera. Thankfully we have a zoo membership, so a trip cut short is no big deal. It'll be a few more days til I can entertain the thought of going back without having PTSD about it though (not to belittle PTSD, sorry if that bothers anyone). I tell everyone that gardening is my therapy...between the methodical nature of most tasks and how pretty your results are, it really does lift the mood. Thanks! And Linda, yes, I am sure that Two Part Harmony is correctly labeled. Mine does get the edges when the weather is warmer, and has doubled nicely for me several times. It is also a brighter gold color that the picture actually shows.. for some reason this whole group of pics seems faded to me.. maybe I need to clean my lens! And as I have told several others, it seems that the flowers in my area seem to wash out in general compared to those of you in warmer climates with warmer evenings. I love them anyway, but they don't always look like the pics in the catalogues! Julie

Thank you all for the kind comments.I too, agree with every one about WILD ONE.i THINK ITS A GORGEOUS DAYLILY.ooPS.O AM ALWAYS HITTING MY CAPS KEY BY ACCIDEN dang, done it again. Sorry...But.I CAN see it better:)))

Some really nice daylilies going on for you now. In no particular order I like Wild One, June Hudson, and Northern Nocturne the best of this group. But they are all pretty....Maryl
