Jan, You have all those blooming now? I have got to get down there to see them. How long is the drive from B'ham to your place?

LOL Chris...you got it...first I'm out with my coffee in hand to see whats blooming...then back to the house for my camera and notebook to capture the pics before it gets so hot.
Jill...it's about an hour or so...they will really be blooming in a week or so. I would love to have you visit. Who knows, a couple might even find their way into your car....;o)

Thanks for sharing your blooms, Jan! I still wish I could be sure that 'Terry Lyninger' would survive up here - I've wanted that one for several years now. I don't even have scapes yet, but I'm hoping for lots soon.

Well we have a big truck to haul the camper with and its name is heffalump from the disney movie and it has plenty of room for ya'll but the gas will get you. So for now you northern folks will have to let pics do sry. Ellie you are not to far from me I think? Come to Bham then ride the rest of the way with me.

Jan what do you use to put your angelacres garden on your pictures?

Jill I use PSP graphic program. Hey, load up that truck and ya'll come on down....lol..the more the merrier, I always say! ;o)
Rick...it's about 6 inches and this is it's 2nd bloom season. The scapes aren't as tall as I hope they will get, only about 20 inches right now. I've got a couple of more seedlings from the same cross. We'll see what they do soon. These SM x MM are not my crosses, a friend gave them to me last year so this will be my first time to see them bloom.

wow, those seedlings are gorgeous.I looked at the albums too. Gorgeous blooms..I really injoy seeing every ones photos of these beautiful DL's.Keep the pictures coming.

OK folks here's the first bloom on my 2nd seedling of Starfish Moon x Mildred Mitchell, talk about different from it's sibling above....the color is entirely different, however the size and form are very similar. What do ya'll think of it? I'm loving the color and the watermarking on this one.

DEFINITELY a keeper. I much prefer the second seedling (because of that anti-eye thing, you know). How big is that puppy?

Finally Chris put a name to the affliction I have too - anti-eye - love it. I do like some eyes that are suggestions of colors not the in your face, scream at you type eyes.

Thank you Chris for giving a name to the Eyed ones. I do have some eyes, quite a few, really but I much prefer the eyeless ones to.

Twetty that one is much prettier in my opinion. Is this it's firt time to bloom? If it is, look for some changes next year...Ellie

No Ellie, this is it's second year of bloom, but the first time it's bloomed for me. A friend sent it and several more seedlings to me last fall. He sent photos of their first blooms, but I lost all the photos when my pc crashed a few months back.
