Remember those FRUIT PUNCH POPPIES I planted last year? The very first one opened. The blooms are huge!

The Dutch Iris stole my heart today. I think they are exquisite. I've tried growing them several times but they never come back. Yours are lovely.

I found an orange budded iris....should be open in a couple of days. More opened I had forgotten about: Starship Enterprise From Iris I call this one Wabash? From Iris Stairway to Heaven From Iris The first one to bloom is still tops for performance, very strong grower, strong stalks, from my neighbor Barb. My No. 1 From Iris Most fragrant by far is Fragrant Lilac. I planted a small clump in the Light Pole bed. I have been cleaning out weeds out there this morning and the scent was almost too much. and one longer shot of some of them in the border. From Iris The orange poppies are about to finish up...not too pretty close up. Christie, I lost most of mine when we had all those spring rains a few years ago.

Please see my ideabook: My iris 2016. Most are quite short/small hybrids. The exceptions are heirloom from my mother's garden (via South Dakota & Nebraska)--yellow or lavender (lavender are fragrant). The yellow without ruffles bloom at nearly 4' tall. Otherwise, the majority are 12" to 16" in height. Also have one division of variegated iris to trade (blooms fragrant lavender). A neighbor has just given me rhubarb. It's really too heavy to have shipped.

Everything is beautiful I can't really single out one favorite on second thought Fruit Punch is gorgeous.

Wow, I love the fruit punch poppies. Very pretty, and that LIlac.I love it.Wish I had some here, but the deer would soon demolish it.What is the shrub with the white hanging flowers to the right of the azaleas.its pretty, what ever it is.The daffs are lasting a long time.

The poppies are beautiful, I really like those. Of course, you know I love Amazing Don. Your azaleas look so pretty too. Rhododendrons bloomed really nicely here this year after doing nothing last year. Guess they were trying to make up for lost time. I bought a deciduous azalea a couple of years ago, got it on clearance & couldn't pass it up. I should have taken a picture of it. It still isn't very big, but bright flame orange flowers really catch the eye. Nothing like yours though, I assume that is several azaleas there?

It is a double row with the purples in back. About 12 shrubs planted close together.

I love your mess of Azaleas, just lovely. Everything is beautiful, but that lilac is awesome, we can't grow it here. sharon

Just love everything, Rita. Since so much of what you have won't grow here, you make up for it with your pictures. Just wish you could send the fragrance of that lilac!!! Avedon
