A few more blooms today

After another storm this morning,I have a few more blooming.

This one is a 7 inch bloom.almost white.

Love this one, a 6 inch bloom, too

The rain about ruined this bloom,but, its still pretty. Thanks Rita,

Not a daylily, but is pretty anyway,I grew this one from seeds planted last spring.

I enjoyed them very much Jean....you did good on that clematis. I never thought of trying to grow them from the seed. DUH!!!! :)
Speaking of clematis...I saw one blooming in a garden today as I was on my way to my chiropractor's (SP?) office that was a beautiful sky blue color. Anyone have any idea which one it might be? I never saw one that color before.

Nice array of colors, Jean. I got Moonlit Masquerade last year so I haven't seen it bloom yet. Fancy Face is also very pretty!

Rita, can't hardly wait to see them lilies blooming again. Nancy, I love Apricot nector too, its a very pretty apricot color, KAY, sCENTIMENTAL has a very weak fragrance.not real strong, like Ebb Tide does and Blinda's Dream LINDA: Thanks. I am back in my garden a little,I still get very tired real fast and still get weak after a few minutes, but,I keep going back, as I know the outside and the sunshine is good for me.I have always been a outside type and never like being in the house all day. Val, roses are rewarding with the big smelly blooms, but, you are right they have to be sprayed for blackspot,and I have not been able to spray mine yet and they do have some blackspot on them.maybe in a nother week or two I will be more able to care for them better. Kay, Yes, it is wonderful to have a few daylily blooms now rto look atA week ago,i had quite a few roses blooming, but today only maybe 4 blooming today. Nancy, wont be long now, you will have blooms to show us, too.I cant hardly wait to see every ones blooms, too.I have a few Asiatic lilies blooming, all the red ones, ome where out there I have a couple yellow and red ones,that hasn't bloomed yet.,I really love the lily blooms, too. Oh my goodness, that MANDEVILLA really is going all the way up the post. that thing is gorgeous! How long did it take to get to the top? it sure is green and the flowers just add to the beauty. Love the zinnia too. My mom had tons of them in the yard when I was growing up. I am a fan of roses. The peace rose looks like it smells great. Maybe King George is Scottish with his pleated skirt. All of the lillies are very pretty. I can't decide which is my fav.

Thanks everyone! I'm really going to like Border Crossing, just love that color. I'm pleased with these seedlings, but boy, do I have a lot of seedlings that will be leaving my yard this year. Nothing downright frightening or misshapen, but just plain. I guess that is the way it goes!

Nice pics even with the raindrops. I've been adding more whites in and SILVER SHADOWS looks to be a good choice.I'll have to check that one out to see if its hardy here in Zone 5/6.

The clematis looks great. I haven't thought to grow clematis from seed either. A couple of years ago I bought 2 plants from local nursery. Maybe I can try growing from seed this year. Is yours blue or just my monitor making it look blue?

Jean- I am glad to see that your daylilies are blooming and that your posting pictures. I hope that means your broken wrist is getting better or maybe the daylilies just keep your mind occupied with pretty flowers.

I never thought of growing clematis from seed either. I just got mine as vines from the local nursey. Yours is lovely.

Julia. The clematis IS a medium shade of Blue. NO purple.
Rita; I suppose my wrist is getting better, but it sure has not stopped throbbing.It dont bother me alot where the break is in my wrist, but is so painfull on both sides of my elbow,I have to revert to taking a pain pill some times.Just can't stand another minute of the pain its causing,when trying to get a few hours sleep at night.The daylilies starting to bloom helps alot to take my mind off it, some.Supposely,I have 13 days left till this heavy metal comes off the arm.The way my arm is so painfull now,I am dreading the therapy.

I am thinking that your elbow hurts because you are probably compensating for the fact that you can't use your wrist. Plus the fact that maybe more weight with that steel contraption.

Rita, I can't use the arm OR the hand for anything.I have no strength at all in my fingers either,to hold some thing in my hand. If I stretch the arm out straight,it hurts like crazy and if I bring it in as if in a sling,it hurts like crazy, too.The therapist says I must exercise the arm 30 times and the fingers too,6 times a day.He says this is light therapy until this steel thing comes off, then its real therapy.I am looking forward to getting this steel off me in 12 more days, b ut not the therapy.
