WANTED: Donations needed for a new garden

Hello, everyone! My husband retired two years ago and we moved to his hometown in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. We bought his family home by the sea (over 100 years old) and have spent a lot of time and money remodeling; including the yard.

For the past two years I've been cutting back over-grown shrubs, hardscaping, ammending soil, and hauling off rocks. Now, after much blood, sweat and tears I am finally ready to plant more than just a container garden.

Being on a limited income and spending so much to get this old house up to par (new electrical, plumbing, heating etc..) has left my bank account a little on the exhausted side. I would really appreciate any seeds you may be able to spare. Currently all I can contribute is a SASE, however I hope to have an abundance of seeds by next spring that I can swap.

If anyone has anything that would do well in zone 5a that they can spare, I'd love to hear from you.

I have received 3 mailers with seeds in the past week and a half. I will try to get the zip codes posted. We have had some major family issues, and I am about a week behind right now. Thanks for all the responses... I'm more into flowers but open to veggies as well.. It's a small greenhouse that my husband bought for me cause I've been housebound for just over a year now due to a ruptured disk in my back.. Had surgery in Oct and am feeling better and need to get outside.. Been a Long Cold Winter in Alberta this year... I have a few trades to offer but not too much i'm afraid.. Red,White,Dark Purple Petunia,Brown Multi flower Sunflowers, Yellow Bell Pepper, Mixed Violas.. Hope to have more in the fall,, I have planted clematis,hollyhocks,and passion flower vines so hope to have those seeds soon.. Happy Gardening and Happy Spring to Everyone......
