Will this ever end -- probably not

I don't know...I just can't keep playing around with this garden.

Since I don't like to do even numbers in a island I picked up the 3rd player in this new design.
Pinus cembra 'Pygmaea'

This conifer will complement Picea abies 'Hillside Upright' and Picea abies 'Perry's Gold' already planted.

Since I don't do squares and I am into free flowing designs the easiest way for me to do a design is a hose laid out on the ground. Sometimes this only takes minutes but in some cases an hour or so is consumed trying to get everything balanced. On several occasions I have even walked away and just let things lay when I can't get everything into perspective. A good nights sleep often produces good results.

This is what I am in the process of finalizing. There will probably be a few tweaks added but given time along with 150 paver's and 4-60 pound bags of motor mix, a strong back and a weak mind I think it can be done.

I will post photo's from time to time to show how I anchor the brick so it stays in place along with other tricks of the trade I have learned over the years.

Dave
