I agree. Felker or Target will both hold their value, so that if you want to sell it when YOU'RE done with it, you should be able to recoup most of your money. I'm about to buy the TM-75 myself, either today or tomorrow, only because a small tabletop saw would make things so much easier for many of the jobs I do, where I don't need the huge oversized Target that I have now. As for brands to stay away from, Rigid, Old Chicago, Kobalt. One thing you want to do, though-- Bring a piece of tile with you when you go to look at the saw, and ask them to cut it. If you see the blade spring at the end of the cut, keep in mind that it'll have to be trued. Same if after cutting the tile, you measure it and the width of the piece is different at one end from the other.

Allison, I had never seen the one on Heather's blog. I must not have been reading her at that time. I notice she says she plans to use it for pics on the website, but I don't recall seeing those either. I don't visit her shop often though. That is neat to age one. I have seen some decoupaged in old book pages, sheet music, etc. also. Dilly - get that new one down! And to the other poster who has one in the attic - get her outta there! Such a treasure. In my area, I'd list that table at $75, and hope to get $50, but probably sell it at $40 after having it listed for a month. Around here, people think everything on Craigslist should be a bargain. They won't even call or email if they think the price is too high. If they do contact you, they will expect at least $10 taken off the price. There's a few who automatically offer half of the listed price. And then there's the charities that want you to donate the stuff to them, but oddly, when you go to research the charity you can't find anything on-line about them. What I do is look at similar listings and get a feel for the prices being asked. With an item in good condition, set a price about the middle of the price range that you've found. You can't find out what items sold for, so it's hard to know what the "real" price of things is. Once you have a price you think is okay, add $10, because most people are going to want you to reduce the price that much anyway. If something sits on Craigslist for a few weeks and you get interest, but no one is buying, you can do one of two things. If you really want that price for the item, you can let it sit on Craigslist list. There's a feature where you can "refresh" the listing to bring it back to the top of the list. Or you can start reducing the price. You can edit your listing and take the price down by $10 or so weekly, until you hit the price point where you get more contacts. If you don't want to sell at a low price, you can always cancel the listing. An option to Craigslist, and one that might get you more money, is to find a furniture consignment shop and try to sell it there.

A long time ago, someone on here posted a general rule for CL items that I've discovered works over and over again. List the item for 25% of what you paid, and negotiate from there based on demand. So, here, let's assume the chair went for about $1800. 25% would be $450. Then it would probably be negotiated to $350 -which is exactly what a few people have suggested. See, it works again! So I too, would offer about $350.
