HAVE: A Big Thanks and Seeds

Thank-you so much to everyone that helped this new gardener get set up with SASES. I have some seeds from my garden from last year. Most are common plants that few of you would want (i think) but perhaps other new gardeners would be interested in a trade or SASE. I have:

* Giant Sunflowers (my garden) 2006 8T

* Lilac Common (my garden) 2006 2T

* Pasque Flower Pulsatilla vulgaris 1T

* Northern Catalpa Trree Catalpa speciousa 2006 3T

* Moonkshood 'Bicolour' Aconitum (my garden) 2006 1 T

* Sweet Williams (commercial) 2002 1T

* Dill Anethum Graveolens (commercial) 2005 1 T

I am seeking: eggplant, shallots, leeks, garlic, thyme, chamomile, foxgloves, hydrangea (not white), any geranium, russian sage perovskia, primrose or please see my want list.

Hey there! I have an ornamental white eggplant (aka easter egg plant) and I have a few varieties of foxglove, and some evening primrose. Woud it be possible to trade for some pasque flower, Catalpa speciousa, monkshood, and maybe some lilac?

Hi there. I have some heirloom "Long Purple' Eggplant, that I wouldn't mind sharing. Just got them a while ago, and too many for me to grow. Also have leeks, thyme, annual bunching onion, and quite a few other things on your want list, including some of the flowering plants. If you want to do a SASE, that would be fine. I'm not really looking for anything right now. In fact I have too many seeds to deal with. Just send me an email if you're interested.

I have five packets of freshly harvested Acer macrophyllum seeds each containing 25 seeds (if you want more or less than 25 just let me know). These seeds should be winter sown and don't store long so I'd like to get them off to their new homes as quickly as possible. I'd be interested in any seeds on my want list and just about anything else OP or species whether it be flower, veggie, tree or shrub so if you're interested just let me know. Thanks, Amanda

Thank you to everyone who donated plants to me this plant swap. I was the newbie who showed up with my brother late with the pasteries to acquire whatever I could for my new garden. We left with so much more than I could imagine, especially since I came today only with the wish that I walk away with a few more gardening tips and tricks. WOW! I've planted about half of what we took home and finally had to stop because I ran out of light - my husband drug me inside to feed me dinner! I am SO AMAZED not only at everyone's generosity, but at the welcome that we received. Thank you, thank you, thank you (especially to Jim for hosting!) and I hope that I can host you all in my new garden for a plant swap or event someday! Happy planting! Katy Tonkin
