To put your photo into your post look under the picture on photobucket. Find the gobbledygook which is labelled 'html'. right click on it. Copy. Paste in your message. It will look like a load of rubbish but when you go into preview message it will miraculously show your picture..... like this.

It looks like you did the right thing to post the link to the album; now you just have to figure out the part about posting the individual picture(s)... Scroll over the picture you want until the four lines of code appea. Copy and paste the HTML Code for the picture you want into the message box, click on 'preview message'. If you got the right one, it should show in the preview page. If it doesn't, go back and try again - make sure you used the third one down that says HTML Code for the particular picture. I'm not sure if photobucket offers the option to automatically re-size photos as you upload them... When I export photos from my camera software I choose the 480x640 size, jpeg file format. I export them to a separate folder and then upload from there so I'm uploading smaller files that are reasonable quality and size but don't cause to problems with making the picture and text wider than the monitor screen that happens for those of use using IE when large size pictures are loaded!

LL: I love that picture with ascepias; so much texture in it! That spiky purple in the other one is called liatris or gayfeather. That one in my backyard gets about 3 1/2 feet high and is at least 10 years old. The soil is good and it gets 6-8 hours of sun. I'm going to post a new thread - a new liatris I planted in my front border a few years ago. It got over 6' tall! I have never seen any variety listed as that tall. In the picture I'm posting it was 'only' 4 1/2 feet. Awesome, take a peek!

The clearwing moth is also called Hummingbird Moth. They buzz like a hummingbird - fast and loud. They aren't the least bit shy. Their larvae looks like a tomato horn worm - so probably a lot of people kill the little cuties.

Mickie, those are great shots! The hollyhocks in the first photo are to die for. Gorgeous! And the smokebush in the background is spectacular! What is the purplish shrub/tree on the left of the first picture? Can you share some of the steroids you must be feeding that liatris?? LOL!!!

Thanks, thyme! The other red is Forest Pansy Redbud - love it. It's about 5 years old. Last spring I had people stopping to take it's picture, it was drippy with flowers!

Blueberry - the tomato hornworm is just a little uglier. I give them all the benefit of the doubt unless they are eating more of my veggies than I can spare!

Mickie - I put each of the codes for the pictures on a separate line - i.e. paste in the HTML Code for one, hit 'Enter', paste in the next code, hit Enter,....

I'm not sure if another seperator would work or not - you could experiment by trying it out and checking on the Preview to see if it works. Hitting Enter after putting in a code is easy and definitely works... :-)

LOL! "Just a little uglier" - I hate to think of the numbers that have met their demise because they eat my tomatoes down to nothing. I mulched my tomatoes pretty heavily with wheat straw this year and didn't have any. The moths are so pretty, do you ever try to "relocate" them?

I've got 2 new Forest Pansy Redbud trees and I can hardly wait for them to flower.. how long did it take for yours to bloom?

Blueberry - My redbuds bloomed the first year, but the bloom wasn't heavy until about the 3rd year. The clearwing larvae don't bother anything in my veggie garden. They seem to prefer my viburums when the leaves are tender and juicy. I made some cuttings of a viburnum and the larvae decimated them but didn't kill them. I'm real careful with larvae. I killed a ladybug child once. Was it ever ugly! Can't believe those turn into lady bugs! The only bugs that bug me are mosquitos and that's just because they bother my friends (human friends) ... but I do put stuff in my ponds to prevent them from overtaking me.
