Germinating Seeds questions

Sorry if I am repeating some other threads, but I have around 1,000 seeds, and I don't want to mess this up as I try to germinate my seeds.

July - August - Harvested and labeled my seeds

September - 4-6 weeks, let the seeds air dry indoors

November - December - 8 weeks - seeds were in my fridge crisper in plastic bags

now I am trying the paper towel method

8/1 water / hydrogen perozide mixture. I dip the paper towels in the mixture, put the seeds in the paper towels, and seal the paper towels in ziplock bags.

Questions:

1) should I put the ziplock bags in a lighted room or keep them dark? should I leave the bags uncovered or cover them?

2) how often should I change the wet paper towels?

3)Is it better to keep the bags at room temp (70 degrees) or put them under the stairs (50 degrees)?

4) Once they germinate, how long should I keep them in the towel bags, and how soon should I transfer the sprouts to dirt?

5) Do you recommend Peat Pellets? (add water and peat Pellet becomes wet to plant seed in)?

Once I transfer them to dirt cups, how often should I water the dirt cups? should I keep the dirt moist or let it dry out before rewatering?

Thanks in advance, I appreciate your help at this point in trying to germinate these seeds.
