Hi There!

A great big THANKS to all for showing your support for our Dahlia specific exchange page! I received word yesterday that our response has been very good, and that will award us our exchange page. The programmers should be giving our exchange priority because of the season. So hopefully, it won't take too long to get that up and running! Wonderful job on visiting the Suggestion forum and posting those messages!!

What would you like for it in exchange? DALDAK: I have alstroemeria and Kwanzo daylily for red lily and purple rock cress, thank you for the trade. When I google pink echinacea and purple echinacea, I get the same pictures. So I guess people are calling it either colour. I would never call it purple myself. In my opinion it is not even close to purple. Mine is nice pink with fairly wide petals that don't droop overly much. They are seedlings so I don't know how close to mother plant they will be. Hi Gardeng8, Signet here ......if you are handing out recipes, would you mind sending your "salsa without the corn in it " recipe my way too please. Also , many many thanks for the very many plants and the card and thoughts , I appreciate it . To all: I am literally in plant heaven . Thanks to you all . I cant believe how lucky I am to be given so many wonderful plants from everyone . I have put my babies underlights for a while ( interestingly out here in the country we are still having quite cold nights ) so for the next little while , the really tiny ones are under lights and in the house . And what a selection of plants I have !!!!!!!!! Now to find the right spots for them all . Blueiris: Cant thank you enough for the lilies and all the trades ! I am totally excited about adding these to my gardens ....I do have some (probably 2 dozen or more ) Poet's Narcissus left over that I dug up and didnt get potted up so If you still want to add more to your gardens let me know cuz they can just as easily get dropped off at your place rather than placed back in the ground here and it will give me a spot to put some of the items I got yesterday ( Please say yes!!!!!!!) I would have brought them yesterday but ran out of time to pot and room to transport. I was still potting at 10:30 yesterday and due to be at the swap for 11 a.m. Many many thanks for the tomato cages !!!!!!!! cant thank you enough ! Daldak, just so you know , I explain it this way , I am not responsible for what I leave with every year , everyone else is LOL ! All the garden webbers are plant enablers HA HA HA and yes I am a plantaholic . Thanks for the many trades we made . Just a note: I made it out to Bev's plant sale just before the swap and I would just like to say that if any of you get a chance to go visit her gardens you will enjoy them . She has many interesting and unusual plants and I enjoyed myself immensely wandering around lusting after many of the plants she has and her soil too . LOL ! Signet

I didn't know there WAS an exchange page! I don't post on the forum but I'm always reading thru TN Gardening and Orchids to see what I can learn. I would love to check out the exchange page if I knew how to get there. I always have lots of stuff that's done too much multiplying and I hate to toss it out. Maybe if you give directions some other clueless people who didn't know it existed (like me) will find their way there. Chris :-)

I have 1 purple top turnip-----vegetable 2 true lavender------herb 3 impatients -basalm mix---flower Since this is the start of this trading thread.You need to look threw my list and make sure your 3 trades is something I do not have at all but 1 has to be a want When you do that comment closed on the 3 pack post and post 3 packs of your own for trade. Then PM me your address and I will give you mine and we will trade for this to work the person the posted has to make sure the trader post theres for trade before you trade with them. Then someone will post closed on your post of 3 packs and you will get 1 want and 2 you do not have so you will get 3 all together you do not have.plus the ones you traded for.

Hi All -

Wanted you to know that I sent a message off requesting a status check on our exchange. It's just a little over a week since I was told we had enough response, so hopefully it won't take much longer. I'll post again when I hear something back.

It's almost 4 weeks now, how long will they keep us waiting???? Do they also react so slow on all these commercials?

I feel your frustration!! I was told that we would get "priority" because of the season, so I am unsure what their definition of "priority" is....lol! Let's just keep our fingers crossed that they get it up and running soon.

For some reason they are moving really slowly on this - Maybe we should go back to the Suggestion & Comments forum and post a "Please hurry up" message...lol!

It isn't anywhere yet and time's a wastin'. It won't be too long and the cuttings afficionados will be active and sprouting. They need tubers!

Michele last posted an update on 10/7, that's nearly 3 months ago. So let's go repost to our original dahlia exchange request forum and let them know we're out here. We're eager. We're watching. We're dahlia fans and will not be ignored...

Let's get back there and voice our requests for a dahlia exchange forum again. The new owners would do wonders to do something positive for Garden Web, given all the skitters and uproar about the new policies in effect today. I think it would be much easier to trade if we had a separate forum for such.
