Fall + New Growth = Water?

Hi, I'm still rather new to succulents and I've only had my plants for a few months. They're already confusing me.

I thought that for the most part new growth is a response to temperature. Meaning you see the most growth when it warms up in spring. I have a Crassula arborescens, a C. ovata (Hobbit) and a Lapidaria of forgotten species that are not following these rules. All 3 have new growth. At first I thought I was fooling myself but I was away for 2 weeks and now it is unmistakable. My little friends are definitely sprouting new leaves (and branches in the case of the hobbit).

So, my question is: How much do I water the Crassulae?

I should not water the Lapidaria.

Oh, I live in Philly with windows that face east-northeast. I first noticed the signs of new growth in October when it was cold enough in my apartment for me to call the landlord.

Thank you very kindly.
