Toni...I figured it would be probably a Navel but there are many kinds of Navel oranges.Just to name a few, there are Washington Navel & Robertson Navel & Cara Cara Navel & Trovita & ect.ect.I need to know from someone thats growing for taste as well as a prolific bearer.But only that these will be like I said dwarf potted citrus.Yes, I did consider a Calamondin but I don't think I've ever tasted one.***Suzanne

I can't speak to flavor, but when I researched which citrus I wanted for my collection, which are all potted true dwarfs that come inside for the long winter up here, I selected Trovita for my orange. From what I had read they did well in pots, did well indoors, and had excellent flavor. Purchased as a one-year old and now going on 2 1/2, it has grown very well and has just started to bloom for the first time. It is one of the trees I posted about earlier (as in, why is a spring-blooming orange tree blooming in November?). So, I can't speak to the flavor (yet, give me nine months), but I can say that it is a nice tree to grow as a potted dwarf. And, the blooms are very fragrant.

narcnh, Trovita is the one orange that I did order for a friend from Fourwinds.I would also like to order another kind of Navel Orange tree also.It's certainly nice to hear from people that are happy with what they are growing.Now it's just the waiting game to taste the fruits of your labor.***Suzanne

Washington, trovita and caracara will run neck and neck to me for taste and prolifiic bearers but Washington edges them all as far as beauty and largeness of fruit are concern. And it blooms all year round in my yard Which makes it as their logo in one of the citrus forums here.

Hell-o Benny! Tell me about this Washington navel of yours,it looks like a dwarf,am I right? Benny,what would suggest for up here in Washington state being a potted citrus and housed thru the cold weather? I do have a Cara Cara and I have little oranges on it now...some are golf ball size.But I'd like to buy another orange that would do well here with extra care. And Benny, I told you before...you should definately put together a picture book of your citrus. Pictures of your citrus inspire as well as leave us in awe.***Suzanne

I did also order a Washington navel this morning.
