Hi, I was wondering if you would be interested in woodland plants for your named daylilies.(except the stella and purple doro I have those two)I have solaman seal, true and false and even a few varigated,praire trillium, nodding trillium,wild ginger, wood poppy, jack-in-the-pulpit, wild hycinth,trout-lily, hepatica, bloodroot, squirrel corn, purple, yellow, or white violets. Okay I need help. Not being knowledgeable on woodland plants that is. I have a trillium that is bid and red and no spots on the leaves under an ash tree in the middele of my rugosa roses. What type of soil and conditions do trillum like? Same question over the ginger, toad lilies and jack in the pulpit?

If they are happy in zone 5 almost 4 conditions then yes we can work out a trade for the prairie and nodding trillums and some wild ginger, trout lily and jack in the pulpit but I need to be educated first.

Have been looking to add some deep color to the other DL I am just getting from the LA, and a dark edged/eyed DL. New to DL and have yet to see my first bloom from the few I got last year. Very excited about my new addiction.

I have many dianthus-most unnamed other than some baby dolls & pink rainbow loveliness. Also have jacob cline monarda and anchusa azurea. Tons of woodlanders like
jack in the pulpit, maidenhair ferns & others, bishops cap, may apple, buttercups, wood anemone, wild leek, goldenseal,

Sorry, I am not into woodland plants that can be invasive. I am interested in trillium and gingeroot but have not heard back from the one who offered it. Not sure if Jack In the Pulpit can live under pine trees bordering a lawn my father likes to add lime to. We have wild plants in our woods so not really needing much. Toad lily sounds interesting and not something I have seen in our wooded area. We have fields and wet lands that goes into a forested area.
