Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share some pictures from my garden, close-ups of the season's changes. I love the details of plants viewed up close - probably why I enjoy the innumerable variations in daylilies!

{{gwi:636089}}
Knautia - I love that deep crimson color.

{{gwi:636090}}
Oak Leaf Hydrangea 'Pee Wee' - wonderful foliage and fall color.

{{gwi:636091}}
Dried flower head from the hydrangea.

{{gwi:195089}}
Nicotiana 'Lime Green,' still blooming and looking fresh.

{{gwi:636092}}
A late pink mum.

{{gwi:636093}}
Holly berries - the first year this female plant has fruited for me, after planting a male pollinator two years ago.

{{gwi:636094}}
My honeysuckle just doesn't want to stop blooming - and it smells incredible.

{{gwi:636095}}
This little snapdragon was hiding under my butterfly bush.

{{gwi:636096}}
Blueberry leaves.

{{gwi:636097}}
Black currant leaves.

{{gwi:425559}}
Seed heads on clematis 'General Sikorski.'

{{gwi:636099}}
Burning bush (euonymus alata) - common up here, but still lovely in the fall.

{{gwi:636101}}
Doublefile Viburnum - I just love its corduroy leaves.

{{gwi:636103}}
White dogwood.

{{gwi:636104}}
Aster 'Raydon's Favorite.'

{{gwi:193361}}
Lavender 'Munstead.'

{{gwi:198332}}
Mum 'Emperor of China,' with culinary sage.

{{gwi:636106}}
One of the few peonies I have that fades gracefully in the fall - 'Phillippe Rivoire.'

{{gwi:636108}}
Rose 'Betty Prior,' sheltered by the house, might bloom into December in a mild year.

{{gwi:636110}}
Rose 'Othello' - the most VICIOUSLY THORNY plant I grow, but the flowers smell like heaven on earth.

{{gwi:631501}}
Tricyrtis 'Miyazaki Hybrids' (toad lilies).

I hope you enjoyed this close-up tour of my garden!
