Yovan, one of the two cuttings did not make it, mostly my fault learning. The other cutting is doing very well. No where near the size it should be. I neglected it for 1.5-2 years due to countless life obligations that I could not get away from. June/2017 it was in such bad shape every leaf was curled and dried up to a crisp from not being watered for over a month in very hot temps. My family and I were forced to vacate our home due to an asbestos contamination and were unable to return. When i finally was able to retrieve my tree's and did my best to bring it back and have been taking overly good care of it since. It has completely come back to life, dropped all its old leaves and has grown all new and some. We are now in a new home and I am hoping this spring it will take off and make up for my lack of taking care of it for years! I will try and take a picture of it this evening when I return home.

Mine (in the UK) are on a windowsill. My biggest is very pot bound in a distorted pot too. I tend to water it from the bottom, and feed with liquid feed whenever I remember. When the stems either break off accidentally or go yellow and die, stop watering. Then don't water again until the new shoots are about half an inch high and look like strong shoots. Mine stays in the same place indoors all year, and my central heating tends to be o about 15 c minimum, but I think it would be ok cooler than this. I believe some people in America leave it in he garden all year. If you want seed, it's easy to pollinate with a paintbrush or with another flower.

Thanks for your support. The leaves are quite hairy, so it's not that simple to dry them by hand. I had to do it many times before and it takes half an hour to dry the plant completely... an I've got three of them. Yes the leaves are similar to African Violets. Increasing humidity won't kill them unfortunately. I've tried it many times before with my brighamia insignis. They just keep on killing your plant. Usually I use neem oil which works out pretty fine. Sometimes I also use soft soap combined with rubbing alcohol, but it's just no option for Sinningia, but I think I'll have to try. I'm going to spray only one leaf with neem today.

Pot it in something that you can keep it in for a while. Maybe a 3-4 inch diameter terra cotta pot with drainage. That way you wont have to disturb it for a while. Just use succulent potting mix and water about every week while it is still a baby. When it gets to a larger size you can switch back to however you watered the old one.
