I'm curious about the Cedrus. The company I work for has an office in Denver and I believe one of the women I talk to out their stated that the Denver area had a few nights in late Dec or maybe it was early Jan of -15F/-26. I'm not sure if that was at the airport or in town? Anyway for what its worth the blue atlas and deodar look good if they came through those temps. I've never seen a Deodar in Cleveland, but the Blue Atlas are being planted like crazy and that is about how the majority of them look around here after -15F. Also last week I picked up an order from Iselis in which I ordered a Cedrus atlantica Aurea Robusta and its even tip burned from its winter in Oregon. I'm not that worried because Its minimal and they do flush out quickly, but that Golden Deodar isn't that much worse from what I had brought in from a much milder climate. Its still a very nice golden color. But are you sure thats Aurea Robusta in the photo above? Its very blue- or is it just fried?. Mine is much more golden.

Hi deanforestglade, To answer your first question, as I said earlier, its a tedious process. If you right-click your mouse with the cursor on the photo, and then click "properties" in the pop-up window, you will get something like this: "http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i29/jaro_in_Montreal/AbieslasiocarpaCompacta002.jpg" This shows that the photo is stored in a personal account at www.photobucket.com Other forum participants may use different photo storage facilities, but it always comes down to the same thing: you need to store your photos somewhere else than this conifer forum, and then include a link (html code) in your post, that picks up the photo from wherever you stored it. Why do people put up with this crazy scheme ? Beats me -- especially when there are other forums where you can upload your photos directly from your computer (such as the UBC Conifer forum, at the link below). Maybe its because the other conifer forum doesn't have all those wonderful commercial adds slowing down your computer, every time you flip from one page to the next ? :O) As for the photo editing, personally I use Correl Draw. But there are lots of other graphics softwares available -- some I think even come with your digital camera... Good luck -- hope to see your photos soon !
