Sorry I need insturctions for posting pictures to iVillage again, I have a friend sitting with me willing to help. Thanks group. Norma

I guess Photobucket is the popular choice with that in mind you'll need to set up a free account to upload pics at Photobucket.com
After you set up and log in to a free account (or some other online photo place)You'll see some step by step help tool bars, screens & menus where you can edit uploaded photos (as an option for size and such)

To post from Photo bucket go to album where pic is
scroll to the pic you want to post
See the drop down menu ?
scroll down to the HTML line and clickon HTML it should turn blue on the right side line .
Right mouse click and scroll copy the BLUE HIGH LIGHTED HTML CODE
Bring GW forum oage back into the screen
right click on the page where you type and click on PASTE You should see the code line you just copied inside of things

hit enter at GW for line spaces to add typed words then repeat steps for muti pic posting

The best part is........ last but not least GW's preview where one can always cheeck fer cerrect spillings

Jeanne...would Leaf Grow (a composted leaf product available in my area) work as compost? I was really asking about the miracle grow for outdoor container plants. I understand that watering them causes the nutrients to wash out of the pot so its a good idead to add a fertilize every few weeks. buyorsell...I garaged mine in a windowless garage and they did great...grew and developed lots of big buds over winter. Someone on here told me it wasn't necessary. Someone else suggested digging a hole and buring the pot in the ground with some sort of mulch on top for insulation. Another person suggested that if I moved them close to my house and covered them with burlap/bubblewrap on the top and outward facing side of the pot, they would stay warm enough. I decided to be safe and bring them in. ;)

I know those rules sound crazy but they've been refined over the years of playing this game. I call it the Greed Game because the object of the game is, well, to be greedy! You're supposed to steal. I've played versions of this game many many times and I've found two immutable facts: 1. People LOVE to open a new wrapped gift. The thrill of finding out the unknown is hard to resist. 2. This game is no fun if there is no stealing. 2.a. The corollary to this is that if a few people get to steal while everyone else sits (usually with an "unpopular" gift in their lap) and watches the others having all the fun, it's REALLY not fun. So, my crazy rules solve both of the above. Everyone gets to open a new gift (yay!) and everyone gets a chance to steal (double yay!). Inevitably, if there are some gifts that NO one wants, SOMEONE will still end up with them. BUT at least the playing of the game will be fun! Thanks Sweeby for posting the rules (again!). It's actually nice to have them written up and I'm going to save them for the next time someone asks me for them, as they often do. Work in Progress - have fun!

Need Floor Lamp Re-wiring Instructions

If your lamp is tripping the circuit breaker then it's quite likely that it's miswired or damaged. However I don't quite understand how you could have bared wires while changing the bulb. If you took it all apart, the trouble spot could be almost anywere. In that case you'll probably have to take it all apart again, and this time (1) make sure it's wired exactly as it was before; and (2)make absolutely sure that no bare wire is showing anywhere. Make your wire-to-wire connections using small wirenuts. Ask the hardware store counterman for help with getting the right size - I hope you have a good hardware store nearby. Again make sure no bare wire is showing when you've screwed the wirenut on. Wires placed under screw heads, as on lamp sockets, should wrap clockwise. This way, when you tighten the screw, the wire is pulled in toward the center of the screw, rather than being pushed out. Also, after you strip off the insulation from stranded wires, grab the end of the little wires and twist them all together counter clockwise. This twist will minimize fraying when you tighten the socket screws. Here's a little more info. If you took the lamp all apart and didn't make drawings of how it was wired, you may have big trouble getting it together right. Might have to find a friendly electrician to help.

I'm posting as k8orlando now but you know me as solstice98 and those are my old instructions. If I can help with updates, please let me know. Norma contacted me by email but I'm not sure I was able to help her... as always, I'm happy to do whatever I can to get people posting pictures.
