See, patience is a virtue when you're attempting to propagate a plant. I told ya it'd be awhile. ;) Keep us posted if anymore leaves appear. I just stuck mine in the closet, hoping it'll start budding soon.

Thanks :) ok, me being silly again, why do you put them in a closet or other dark place? I am trying to understand this, but something is not "clicking" in me as to why. I know they need cooler temps, but I thought they need light too? Or what am I missing? If they need dark to bloom, I have the whole house to put them in- lol, cooler? Mom keeps the house pretty warm since she is always cold. But I could find a place like that.

I hope that someone can click the switch for me on this. Would really like some blossoms on at least one of them! :)
But not fulling understanding doesn't help~~ /sigh

They need natural light in the day, but uninterrupted light at night as our days naturally get shorter as we head toward winter.
CC and TC need long, dark nights before they can start buds. If you have them in your living or dining room, then they will get artificial light which will mess them up and they will never get the message to make buds.
CC needs a longer night than TC, so if you are growing them in natural light, the TC will bud first, the CC will set buds later, when the nights are longer.

Thanks lme5573, so being in the bedroom with the lights on them all day and well into the night won't help them~ got it.

The only room that has "natural" light like you're talking about is mom & dad's room and it gets dark when the day is done, they just sleep in their bedroom, would be perfect. (we live in our room /sigh) Plus it is a lot cooler in there too. They have offered to put the plants in there, (only window that gets morning sunlight) but they have no room for them.

This is only for the blooming stage of the plant? It won't do any harm as far as their health and growing NOT to do it? Because right at this moment, I don't know where to place them for that.. will need to find something tho. I'm just happy it has a new start!! As long as it wasn't dying, I am happy~~

You're right, Marjie. The plant only needs short days to set buds. Yours isn't big enough to set buds this winter, so don't worry and keep it growing in your room. The lights at night won't hurt it at all. Next fall, when it is bigger, then you can put it in a closet or put a box over it at night.
