Full StoryHi everyone, after spending hours reading all the stories of jade whacking that seems so popular here :-) I've decided to go down that same path :-) with some help from you all.
Here are some pics of my jade as it is right now. I've had it for a few years, maybe 4? and haven't really done much with it except repot it once or twice, the most recent being about a year back with the usual heavy soil. Since it's in a funky pot that doesn't drain easily, I'd like to use this opportunity to change pots and to change to the gritty mix.
How much would you cut and where? I guess my objective is a better looking plant, though I'm not 100% sure what that would look like. I guess a plant that is stronger, has more vitality, larger trunk (s)?
Second, Would you keep all the stems in the same (new) pot or would you split it up (and why)?
thanks!
